    The 2007 7600 IH plow truck that I drive at work will idle for 1/2 hour before it shuts down.

    My 72 R 685 does the same thing, I wonder if it could be a maxi brake leaking back thru.

    If it is a 2 valve could be a loose valve seat, does it sound like a thumping noise when you lit off of the accelerator petal don't know weather the 4 valves come loose or not. don't know much about the 4 valve.

    I was reading the latest Land Line magazine and Rep. Matthew Cartwright, D-PA. wants to increase the required insurance from $750,000 to $4.2 million per truck, saying it is not enough. i drive a dump truck for the county highway dept. now. looking better every year putting up with all the Bullshit being an owner operator.

    Does the front axle have brakes on it, how much are you asking for it.

    Buy a new set and put quick couplers on them, that way you can take them off when not in use.

    I know my B 61 with the 300+ wouldn't pass California emission, or any emission for that matter.

    My brother and I were thinking about going to York and Macungie but don't want to drive out twice, is there any place to park 2 trucks and a trailer so we don't have to drive them back from York. Thanks Ron

    I have tighten them up without pulling the pump, you might have to take the AC bracket loose.

    Bill Nagel had Nagel Mack sales & service in Wolcott, IN. he was killed in the early to mid 70s driving up us 231, there was a rumor that the mob knocked him off. my dad bought a couple F models and a few parts off him.

    Pozzo Mack in Gary,IN used to be one of the oldest Mack dealers in the world, but they might sell that Volvo shit now. don't know how long they been around.

    I have a 72 RS700L with a V8 that has the Page & Page Dial-A-Ride, it has the 2 springs plus the 4 air bags, Mack rears, 3.86 gears. back in the 70s I new a guy that had a 69 I think RS700L that had a 318 Detroit 13 speed with the same suspension.
