  1. I wish they would roll the window down when you take there pictures, darn glare, I guess its better than nothing.
  2. I remember those old dumps, I used to haul grain up to Cargill and Continental off of Torrence av. at Calumet City in the mid 70s. does anyone use those any more.
  3. If I recall it is sitting on a Western Star chassis with newway air ride. 1 or 2 years ago he was pulling a new hopper bottom, saw it out in the parking lot at Iowa 80 truck show.
  4. Great looking truck, looking forward to see it in person.
  5. He must think he has a gold mine, looking at it again it does look like an 865-866. don't e9s have internal fuel lines with injectors under the valve cover.
  6. Mike did they close the truck stop down or you just moving the trailer, that was a nice little store.
  7. There is a couple E9s for sale in FL. on ebay.
  8. OK I forgot you were painting it red, white, blue, and you take pride in your work.
  9. Looking good, what color are you going to paint the top of the hood.

  14. Brad does it have the air ride cab cant tell by the pictures if it does would you sell the air ride cab setup with the brackets. Thanks Ron
  15. I took 2 air ride seats out of my B61 that looks just like those and mine are National seats.
  16. I think there is a air shift 6 speed that is an overdrive, don't know what number. the one I drove was a 88 R model with a 300, 555 rears, would run around 65 to 70 mph, the old 76 285 seems to have more power than the 88 with 300 4 valve.
  17. I agree with felicello122, as bad as some of the roads are its nice to have air ride. but you cant beat camel back for a dump truck.
  18. A Cummins non turbo 90 nothing !!, I mean 903 sounds good with a set of Riker mufflers.
  19. One thing you cant argue is he took pride in his Macks, wish I could seen it in real life before it was taken apart.
  20. Back around the late 70s a friend of mine was leased to Steel Transport and hauled steel out of US Steel Gary, IN. he must have known Bob or saw that beautiful truck because he had a 72 R model that he copied the paint color and paint scheme (except the top of the hood) put a west coast grille in it, stretched it out to 202 wheel base, installed a 36" Double Eagle sleeper, put alum. buds on front daytons on the rear. I bought it in 1982. ran over the road a few years and hauled grain at harvest time. I repainted it in the late 80s blue & gray installed blue Superliner interior, 2 airride seats, took the bunk off and was going to go 42" but never put a bunk back on. still have the truck today, wish I would have left it the same color. I have some old pictures of it but don't know how to post pictures on here. don't use it much any more
