Did you say the truck has never had a rear pulled from new or since you owned it? Maybe pull side cover and look there, maybe pull fill and drain plug and look with them scopes that you can hook to your smartphone, don't ask me how to use them I still have an antique flip phone! I hate change. terry

if the engine was out of a cabover it is stamped backside of block, right below where block and head meet. terry

Looks like an overdrive on the main box, go from 4th hi-split right to 5th high-split. No splitting 5th gear, the rear box is an overdrive too. terry If the diagram matchs your gearbox, Trans model no. should be on the left side of main box.
