  6. Then you will need a 3.86 or a 3.65 set of rears. terry
  7. Next faster would be a 3.86 might be hard to find, I would go with a 12 spd. overdrive T1070 trans, with 4.17 rears you will turn about 1750 rpm at 70 mph. terry
  8. Kingpin on the side with tire worn more on the inside?
  9. I wasn't telling which way to go on the seals, most people don't there are two seals till they get them apart. terry
  10. A lot of people don't realize some of the old macks had two wheel seals on each wheel, hand packed in bearing grease for the inner bearing, and the the outer run in gear oil. With a seal between them, most people would remove the outer seal and run both bearings in oil. Don't know if it takes a different inner seal then. terry

  15. Extended service interval I believe. terry
  16. Weldons is a truck parts co. our local one stocks all brake and air parts and front end parts. terry
  17. A 44.000 camelback is going to be ALOT rougher ride than that taperleaf. terry
  18. Is the truck a work or play truck? I have seen alot of trunnions welded or plated to repair them.
  19. If you look at the rear suspension it is a real old set up, the inverted camelback not used since about 1970. Also not a 38.000 rear ,but a 34.000
  20. I would bet the drag links are the same, unless one had a really bigger axle. You would never use them 7.00 ratio rears terry
  21. Definitly a DM frame, must be a pretty early engine or whole running gear, has the old belt driven power steering pump. terry
