  1. I have all the numbers from a parts list but have no actual bearings. So can't help. I'm going to make my Lanova apart this winter so will probably need new parts also. Don't you know what piston rings your mate fits in? Vlad.
  2. Here we have lots of machinery built and imported in Soviet times for army production mostly. Last 20 years no production development provides in our country so I meet less working equipment and skilled specialists. Most of them are gone now and millions tonns of heavy equipement were scrapped. So there are some abilities to order some complicated works but for costs probably higher than in the US.
  3. I have my Camelback of 1945 repaired last year. The milage is unknown. 6 of 8 insulators were solid, bronze bushings were weared because of seals death and water income that made the trunnion rust. Have the trunnion shaft machined off to a less size and made new bushings. Problem was to find bronze because no bronze pipes were for sale, a solid piece only. Vlad.
  4. I think LJSW would be more correct due to the load rating. Although I'm on my research way only. And I don't need a hand of fingers to count L's that came to Russia. Because they didn't. Ianos - nice trucks, I like Aussie options. Thank you for posting. Vlad.
  5. Have steering parts sand blasted and painted. Waiting for bolts and nuts are ready from halvanic in days. Vlad
  6. A Stop Leack additive works on rubber seals making them softer. It can't stop fluid on it's way between metal parts as shims are. Vlad.
  7. Happy 4th of July to all you American guys !
  8. I have the parts list for EY707 gasser of 1943. There are Mack part numbers: Bearing Cam intermediate 59GB 123A Cam front and rear 59GB 122A Crank main rear upper 64GB 1684A lower 64GB 1693A main center upper 64GB 1666A lower 64GB 1675A main front upper 64GB 1648A lower 64GB 1639A All these numbers relates to bearings of a standard size. Can say at least ED Lanova and END673 has different bearings numbers. Vlad
  9. There are probably many army NR's owerthere. They are not too far from L's. Vlad
  10. A right side door of the offset cab opens probably not so enough for a fat chick. So I'm for being free from them !
  11. Impressive! I saw a lot of photos, video gives wider field of view.
  12. Couldn't you look owerthere for a set of L model high speed axle gears? Or maybe complete bogie ? I sent a PM to KidNV although haven't an answer. Vlad.
  13. Looks like for a late series DM, with a little "wedged" plastic hood. This is the one of known Macks owrehere. I missed her "for sale" last year.
  14. I like Australian DM too much! Needed some tens seconds to understand that something was wrong. I also like to see roads, during the trip for the best. Can say, the roads look mostly the same in the area I live, maybe less hills. And less Macks. Damn, NO Macks! So thank you for the report.
  15. Yea, my also (was). Each time I'm looking in the window I see these terrible aftermarket lights... I know I need a grill, original wheels, cab repaint. But I want headlight plates. I need to change them, and the look of the truck will changes to be better.
  16. She really must go crazy. Though medical exercise identify she's not. Strange fact that I haven't seen all that in news and met the artical just here.
  17. I also was in waiting to see Yellow B model Dump Vlad
  18. Thank you, Paul. Wheels and Tracks are out of my attention due to the shortage of time for looking for.. Do you mean some Bart's publication in Wheels&Tracks? Vlad
  19. Nice looking machine ! I'm praying the Lord for she has no sleeper. Because if she has it I must go crazy trying to have the truck immediately. Vlad
  20. Thank you for posting. Bright pictures that made with a good weather are nice looking. Vlad
  21. I suppose I need the same kind as for your truck. Have you got the correct ones? If so please post their look. Vlad
  22. The WW2 military E models were EH and EHU of 1942. Had EN310 and EN354 gassers. They were built basically as commercials but with a lustreless trim - front grill, bumper, headlights and so on. Starting 1943 the militarized version of EH came into production with an oped cab and a flat kind front fenders. Were were lots of other E-series Macks in the military service though they were commercial trucks. Vlad.
  23. Hi Pawel, I noted, yes, and I was surprized to see that special bogie carriers on the Superliner chassis. So if anybody has a mind of their use after the 60's I'm in the interest to learn about. One more over-roof wiev I made on days. You can also see the bullet-type top lights on Watt's truck sales online shop, just look the forum list. I'm going to get a set of although the price is a bit off a model-building range Vlad
  24. Congrats Vinny! Glad to see you're moving. And do as Pawel ask for. It would be pleasurant to him and maybe usefull for you one day. I'm always fixing my work nowadays. It's easy with a digital camera and helps to clear some questions in the future. Vlad.
