  1. There is a very nice book by the author of Bart Vanderveen, called "The record of military Macks in the services and beyond". I'm too lucky to have it. Here's a page 66.
  2. Happy birthday!
  3. Does anybody know where I can download Moonfire? Met troubles that way.
  4. Looks impressive. I'm starting to like DD again.
  5. Happy B-day to all!
  6. Thanks to David he couldn't download. Now we can all What are the front alloys made by? Early Alcoa? How many inches?
  7. Thanks Tim, nice shots and many interesting stories followed.
  8. Nice cars JT (and the scenery too) My son came to be a big fan of classic American cars last years (he's 12), will give him a look on it tomorrow. Would like to see more facts about your job in the future. Shure it's a truck related site although most of us like pretty looking old stuff.
  9. Happy birthday! I was surprized you're also about pierogy but understood. Best wishes, good luck!
  10. I'm shure this truck looks nice and impressive but I've got more impression about a potential of WW2 time Mack NO model wich was introduced in 1940 with most components applied later in M123. It's good Mack built super level trucks in 40's although I don't see great achievement of builting new army truck using 70 year aged technologies. Shure this CL is a die hard unit but it's not the way to play competition on the modern market.
  11. Nice story Tim, and the pics! I wish I could get Superliner near my door for a price in the States.
  12. Hi! I'm shure ready to tell something interesting about that stuff. Doesn't you make a picture somewhere around Edinbourgh, GB? Paul (41chevy), would you like to look the book on page 66?
  13. Still have about 1.5 feet depth that white stuff everywhere excepting cleaned road and see it's not going to down.
  14. Great scenery! As about the truck, left fuel tank can tell us where it is from. How does that happen???
  15. Sad to know, it's time to think about installation of some protection equipement. As about here the most soling vehicle is KamAZ concrete mixer, not Bentley or Ferrari.
  16. Next time guys make a photo of you both. Shure OD would add marks with your site handles and some hitchkicking nice looking details.
  17. I well remember his welding practic. Can't say I'm happy seeing it again or use as a screen wallpaper. If you remember Rob also posted his metal works about a trailer at the same time, not so extremely though. Glad to know Olive is Ok.
  18. Looks very good. I used to be sceptic to most models although your project starts to be likely to myself. Definitely like the deck. Not shure we might see a real one of the kind but this thing could be easily custom made, no doubt. And I'd like to describe the first picture next: "Why did you built the real sized sleeper box of cardboard to put actual magazins in it?" Promise to look over your work this summer.
  19. Is this the same one you have now? Like the colors of 70's.
  20. I also surprized when learned L's have it at rear. You can see the number stamped right above the cable if make the pic large. Sorry, haven't found a better one in 'puter. As far as I know all NR's had it this place, NM I have also got it stamped there, although it has another frame design of uppered front end to clear front drive axle.
  21. Hubs look 20's so I suppose it's of light series so might be LFSW. Mike, correct me if I think wrong way. By the word, NR chassis has number at the front of left rail, behind and a bit in front of Pitman arm's shaft. Haven't heared about the same location on L-models, frames look mostly similar.
  22. Looks like LFSW sleeper cab
  23. Love mounain enviroment! To see and drive with a bike Was born and used to live in flat area. Thank you for posting Tim.
  24. I can not tell it you for shure, the info is straight from a sales broshure. Following the matter of written it would.
  25. Looks stupid of course but impressive. I see some stacked pick-ups overhere although no Mustangs. Sad about 2 big holes in a body but it's his property and the look of things.
