  1. I mostly agree with Superdog although Vinny's post sounds like a man's answer.
  2. Does it have any gearbox with? How rusty/cracked the frame is? How's the cab? This stuff you shuld look up close, not on the pics.
  3. It might look tight built when short with a sleeper. Do you like just lay down under a truck and sleep?
  4. Good luck on the future riding. Isn't there a reason to observe those centering pins on the other axles?
  5. My WW2 military Mack has 3 fuel filters. The first one contains brass element with thin slots and a knife in the center. You should turn out a cap nut and turn over a knife axle to scratch dirt off from the filter. The second and the third are common filters of a cardboard type.
  6. The date on the pic tells it was not long ago. Somebody might still work this truck for a junk transportation.
  7. Thank you for all around view. The original seat would also be nice to keep on my mind. Depends on the milage planned though.
  8. Cool pictures and stories. Don't stop!
  9. I like this one. And the truck also.
  10. This one is great in size indeed. Looks empty though.
  11. Have a good show time! Nice looking trucks.
  12. With the airbag or without? Neat collection of Freightliner cabovers!
  13. Mack logo is copirighted Good way to make advertizement with T-shirts although if T-shirts starts to make business by themself it also looks to me like a way to go.
  14. Ken, it was not me I wish I could though. Shure there was a good amount of stuff to work over
  15. The result worth the labour for shure. The truck looked great on the show ground.
  16. Ha, I looked over this tread from the start and was too surprized it grewed up twice in the last two days. My ex-wife I'm free of for the last 7 years runs her workshop (ex-my shop), sells parts and turns wrenches sometimes. And I always think it's a good way for a nowadays lady. Randy Y is a classy guy. I've just started to worry of one more divorse initiated though... Just kidding.
  17. Waiting for maple leaf pics!
  18. Thank you for lifting up the question. I looked over all 4 doors I actually have on my trucks and started to think about replacement stuff
  19. Welcome on board! The plan gets me worried if the truck is well restored indeed though. Let me also inform you everybody on here like to see pictures
  20. Alot of interesting this time. It's beautiful to look at the road sceneries and enjoy seeing the goats again. They're awesome for shure Still don't understand how many miles you've done to meet a RW down the road. This one looks great. Glad you didn't allow to involve yourself into the desert action. Your truck was so powerfull so you could get her out in a couple of seconds and as follow being stuck in Winfall for a long time because of her unlimited helpfulness.
  21. Just open "trucks for sale" section and put it there with the basic info and pics. And when you've done with it put the link to the post here also. Cool looking unit by the word.
  22. Great news JT, Congratulation on the title! I'm shure it was a milestone and you have it gone. Now that's a deal
  23. Looks like I also have understood the script on the sticker. I don't mean "Magnum" The offer seems interesting to me though. Sorry it has no sleeper. And looks like a double-framed unit. With potential rust in between.
  24. When I was about 19 I also had long dark hair and a beard. Just hadn't Rolls-Royce. But I had diesel Mercedes Great story about Rolls-Royce. Tom's collage is awesome also
