  1. Take care about yourself, we need you in the best form!
  2. Close pics of that steam engine would be nice on a display!
  3. Glad to see strong red horse working!
  4. I'm going crazy about the second pic each time I see it. Macks are made so clean so they look like perfect scale toys! Especially with white background they were fixed. Best looking trucks of the most attractive models. I'm shure you heared lots of comments of the kind but I like to say it again.
  5. Interesting note to me. I see some trucks for sale from time to time but they're on pics. Shure a half of them look upclose as a disaster. But don't know the real figure to start from if I'd like to make a nice restored unit.
  6. Welcome! Would like to see F-model from the UK. Does it have RHD? Vlad
  7. My sorrow you guys can't get it for inside the States. Quite impressive unit, looks like a real American truck
  8. Sad stories. Scums are everywhere. Sometimes they are safely by a law. There's a popular "business" overhere when somebody calls you by phone and said "Father (Mother), I'm deep in a trouble, I'm in police about drugs (car accident with death and so on) and I'm giving a call to a current policemen." That man starting to tell you all the seriousy of a situation and trying to plan a meet with you about money to get your child free. I have a son of young age so heared those stories couple of times playing a role of "father" than just falling them with true. Although my friend's grandmother keeped the call for some minutes with a mute when he recalled police and than talked to scumbs to visit her for a money. When they came they were too surprized being catched.
  9. Great pics guys excepting the pissing wimmins. I'm starting to think to put Winfall on my future trip map. If I ever get US visa.
  10. It's really not easy to make a math with inches you guys used to. Metric count goes more just. But... My telephone said me 138.16 inches means 0.00218 mile (hope not a sea mile). 2100x60/8.24/0.69=22161.25 rear wheel revs per hour. 22161.25x0.00218= 48.3 miles per hour I mistaken about multiply by ratio. Divide by ratio because tranny makes revs slower. About 00 - my TRD-37 is single overdrive.
  11. Everything about B's trannys is still herehttp://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/10929-b-model-transmission-data/
  12. Nice, you have a great number of! I also looked over Ford with Budd cab in 1/43 but my son stopped me from one more life long project.
  13. If using the figures you have we must suppose 44x3.14=138.16" every turn. Doesn't you have double od tranny? If so you must to multiply one by the other. But tire's written sizes may differ up to 10% from the fact.
  14. For the best you need to measure the size of rear tires factly. Look for OD (not Other Dog!) or for perfection place a band of inches (roullette) on a ground and run on it by rear tire. Make a mark on a tire and drive the truck for one full rear wheel's rev. Until the mark on the bend. See how many inches it did. RPMx60 mean engine revs in hour. Multiply them by tranny's ratio and axle ratio and you'll get rear wheel's revs per hour. Multiply them by wheel turn's lenght and get what you like to know. You can also count it out for any gear in a box you shift in.
  15. Happy birthday Barry and Tim! Have a great day !!!
  16. Interesting to know how safe was extra fuelling for old Mack engines. Going to get running my old 131hp Lanova but worry to slide out pump rack's limit.
  17. Rebuild units are good if you know there are good quality components installed into. Shops concurenting to each other and lowering prices. There are lots issues overhere because rebuilders use Indian or Chinese parts for. Most brand here is Bosch so too many sources of parts around this market. As for a new stuff it's usually third country's rebuilds painted and packed into cardbord. So quality is of the same level. This way I prefere factory manufactured used units. Factory new's are good but pretty damn expensive.
  18. Local PAI deales (they are multy brand dealers) like to move their a**es when they have PAI ###
  19. I'm shure it's good idea. Although we can have here on forum some special content areas with different (better - with systemized) info on each Mack model. For a start - on most commonly used - R,B,F etc. I belive it's good than thematic site conteins a worth of basic info about the stuff it relates to. We need to get Barry involved to.
