It's good it turned out well to you. At least the damage was as small as it could be. Dash cams became too popular overhere due to many cases when it's difficult to get a true out on a surface. Couple of years ago someone in the gvnt initiated talks to prohibit them. Happily it didn't happen. The only reason of such a prohibitation I can see is an easiness some dirty facts to disappear in a cloudy water. -
I'm thankful either to your veterans who fought Nazis during the WW2. It saved lots of Russian soldier's lives. Happy Memorial Day my friends!

It would be cool to restore it and paint original Overnight scheme on. Like how it looks tandem with a day cab. Happily I'm not close enough to spend $3700. If I am I would do.

I'd paint the hood for first and get enjoying the whole thing than start to choose a moment to repaint the cab. Or any other way, no matter Nice looking U is turning out, wish you to have enough time spent on it in this season.
