Mrs m80 we have a hyster from the l8 50's it twaz the 1st folding gooseneck in Au with our strict length laws way back wen meant we could only get away with a 14 foot deck length to run 24/7 soon as me WEb host site puts me back 2 gether eye'll bung a cupla pix until then cop this http://forums.aths.org/PrintTopic158447.aspx cya -
I haven't tead this thread all the way thru but with Big Red why couln't they fling the gas gussler turbine in the scrap bin and repower with a 1000 hp diesel & get the beast working cya

Driving from the right This is how we pedal the beast sum have asked how we drive on the correct side of the road from way down under the ol 'R' model Mack is now pensioned off ... soon to B sold (wen we aint in Lockdown)

Under the bell housing under the clutch mechanism there is a tin plate remove the tin plate go grab a torch look up @ the thrust bearing U shood see the grease nipple only give a small quick squirt not too much OR the grease nipple has an extension extended flexi hose th@ is mounted on the tin plate = no need to remove tin plate cya

May B an electrical insulated connection from outside to inside of engine thru the rocker cover cya

If memory seves me right the wife (her in doors) did enjoy my attachments in the earl eye days but nowadays she would have my attachment removed it appears to have no use now LOL cya

rule of thumb we use ..... ruffly half the bar added to the bar x10 2.5 + half x 10 2.5 + 1.25 = 3.75 x 10 = 37.5psi cya -

gudday m8 here in Australia mostly we ran 1000x20 tube tyres until they went to tubeless tyres bout 1975 we could run 1000x20 along side a 11R22.5 therefor a 1000x20 tubes is equivelnt in diameter to a 11Rx22.5 tubless cya -

Years ago twaz told the clutch linkage is set @ factory for delivery and the only time U need to adjust the linkage is wen U take the gearbox out etc and all clutch and clutch brake adjustments R dun in the clutch bell housing WotSezU? cya -

M80 The above drawing is to get grease on the load side of the kingpin normally when U grease the front end with the wheels on the ground the grease finds its way out the easiest way .... on the unloaded side of K/Pin and grease does not get to the load side of K/P (az much) Years ago we had KW that did not have power steering and do as above the drivers sed it felt like power steering (for a few days) cya
