  1. Congrats and keep the rubber side down!
  2. Gregg, Here's wishing you a speedy recovery and thanks for the "lesson". We all need to work safely and smart.
  3. Gregg, As others posted, sorry to hear of your accident. Sounds like it could of been worse. I get nervous when working around big heavy equipment. Hope you make it to York. I will have my goof cart so if you need a ride, let me know.
  4. thanks for the correction and the "rest of the story".
  5. I think Matlack went out of business (union issues?). A good friend of mine worked in the maintenance shop and moved to Air Products. He since retired from AP. I will see him at York if not I will see him at Macungie. There is a current Matlack website (can't post link) for "old timers" and shows pics of the fleet and functions. I think all were green with yellow wheels. The shadows make them look like black fenders.
  6. ROPS - Roll Over Protective Structure. A "cage" to protect the operator if the machine would rollover.
  7. Fred, I have a feeling Larry will be the first in line on Thursday morning.
  8. What is the part number (FBB-4986?) and are they correct for a MH?
  9. Rowdy, What make and model of cam? I just bought a cam from Heartland for $40. Going to give it a test run when I go to York.
  10. And is the service local or nationwide?
  11. Paul, Thanks for the link. Too bad there are no additional pics. Also would like to see the trailer.
  12. Barry, Any update on the "fix"?
  13. Until Captain Barry gets the sitiation resolved, the work around is....click on the LIKE button then wait a few minutes. Then click on View New Content and let it refresh. Click on the original message and it should show your LIKE. Similiarly, if you post a message and it does not post, after you click on SEND, wait a few seconds then click on the View New Content and most likely the message will be bolded. Click on the message and it should show your most recent post. Have not found a "work around" for PMs. Hopefully Barry will have this under control by day break (not sure which day tho).
  14. Eaton is adement about using 50W lube in their transmissions.
  15. I don't think the TK girls need be jealous of that sleeze girl.
  16. I am "almost" ready to roll. I have the trailer loaded but still need to service and check out the MH. Raining today in PA so outside work is limited. Going to OH for the Holiday weekend so that leaves Tuesday to mow the yard at the farm (about 4 hours) and get the MH ready. Plan is to roll out early Wednesday morning, stop at Breezywood to get the dogs groomed, and then head east on the PA green stamp. If all goes well I will be at the show grounds after lunch on Wednesday. Just looked at the forecast....highs in the upper 80s and 50% chance of thunderstorms each day. But as we all know, subject to change.
  17. I been having issues with BMT. I sent Barry a note via email because I can't send PMs here. I have several issues but Barry's initial reply is "no problem found". Perhaps if everyone that is having issues would send Barry a note, maybe it will be resolved. Thanks! UPDATE: Just saw Barry's post....damn dang software updates.
  18. NO!
  19. I have seen four legged pigs with lipstick that look better. Wasted pixels in my book. Lose the bimbo girl and show more of the trucks.
  20. I talked to Barry today and he and his crew will be there late Wednesday evening. The BMT mug shot is typically on Saturday at noon (the infamous BMT nooner).
  21. mackdaddy...may not be a good idea to let your Aussie friends drive the Valueliner here in the states. They may drive on the "wrong" side of the highway.
  22. Happy Birthday and many more!
  23. And then there are wind turbine farms and turbines along the top of mountains. Not only ugly but can be noisy (if you live close) and ultimately I feel they will alter the wind/weather patterns.
  24. Paul, I agree. A lot of history, most of it gone along Routes 30 and 22 in PA. Both major trucking routes and alternatives to PA Turnpike. PA recently voted to turn the abandoned turnpike roadway east of Breezewood and two (2) tunnels (Rays Hill and Sideling Hill) into a bike path. Several vids on YouTube showing the roadway and tunnels. Kudos to Tom for taking the lesser traveled routes and posting pics for us to see.
  25. Found this on YouTube...
