  1. Nice pics as always. CAT truck at Cleveland Brothers along Route 22 in Murraysville?
  2. Less then three (3) weeks is the show and I am NOT ready. I am getting the MH out of storage on Saturday then I can start getting it ready to roll. The trailer is another major PIA. It is full of junk important items and I do not want to drag the crap important items to York and back home. The goof cart will be definitely be in its "as bought" clothes. At this rate I may be ready for Mudcungie. So many things to do and so little time. My plan is to arrive Wednesday (27th) around noon. Anyone else planning to be there on Wednesday? I received the WOT today and read there may not be a truck wash available.
  3. Thanks for the information. You should try the sponsor of this forum....Watt's Truck! Barry and his "crew" do an excellent job locating parts (old and new).
  4. BS, if it runs and is road worthy (or trailer it)...get it to shows (when you have time, if only for a day). I have yet to attend a show that rejected a vehicle because it was not "pristene show quality". If that were the case, my MH would be sitting at home. Personally I prefer to see vehicles in their "working clothes". You did a VERY NICE job on your R and you should be very proud!
  5. I agree. If the clutch disk and flywheel face look good, remove the rust and reinstall. Or just reinstall and "normal" running will remove the rust. I have same problem with tractors sitting too long.
  6. Load them the same as images. However, the file size may prevent you from uploading to the site. 5mb is the maximum file size that can be uploaded.
  7. I agree with Glenn. Perhaps when the pump was rebuilt the #6 plunger was set incorrectly. Did the shop flow test the pump after rebuid? If so, look at the individual flow results.
  8. On a farm near where my MH is stored I saw this dump grain truck for sale. No connection...just passing along to anyone who might be interested. The owner states it runs good with 580,000 actual miles. I tried to start it but the batteries were run down. Rust in the roof, kick panels, and lower doors. Paint fair. Five speed direct transmission. I have additional pics and can get more (only about 15 miles from the PA farm).

  9. You have that right. Even I sometimes do not know where I am.
  10. Must be something in the name....underDOG and otherDOG. OD has and likely UD has passed (I-99/Route 36 Exit 23) within 3 miles of the PA farm....and never call or stop. Anyway, thanks for the pics. Always good to see what others see.
  11. The only one left is south of Tucson....Titan Missle Museum. Wifey and I were there in February, very interesting but sad to know all the others were "destroyed". Now that Russia is "flexing its muscles" I hope and pray there are some left somewhere to defend the good ole USA! P.S. No offense Vlad. If we could all respect each other's opinions, like we do on BMT, this world would be a better place. Sorry for hijacking this thread.
  12. Good luck but don't "hurt" the dog.
  13. Last year it was a mouse in the MH...now this spring it is a #$%& black bird building a nest in the fifth wheel pin cavity of the trailer. The other day I pulled a couple "basketball" size bunches of twigs, grass, etc. from between the plate and floor. I put small boards in all the access holes and the $%&^* bird pushed one aside and started building again. There are also some 1"+ diameter holes that it may be using too. Today I bought some screen material and going to put screen in all the openings. I will also camp out with the .410 and feed the bird some lead BBs. Between the mice, birds, skunks, groundhogs, and foxes...I have a proverbial wildlife zoo at the farm. There are two (2) barn owls around the farm. I thought owls scared birds away. Does the cavity between the plate and floor continue thru to each side or is there a divider in the middle? Thinking of using an air hose and blowing all the crap out. I should have invested in a puddy cat to take care of not only the mice but the birds too. Sufferin Succotash!
  14. Check is in the mail!
  15. Nice! What size 12V inverter do you need for it?
  16. Depending on the gear ratio, it may take some time to drive 600 miles. If it is only geared for 45mph, you are not to be driving on the interstate highways.
  17. We are the stupid people for not marketing stupid innovative stuff.
  18. sorry for your loss
  19. Congrats Mike!
  20. Paul, If you are talking about the flag by the Horseshoe Curve, it has been there for several years. It is more difficult to see when the leaves are on the trees. Never heard anyone say how it got there.
  21. Hmmm....Horseshoe Curve. I know, you did not have time to stop or call. Nice pics tho.
  22. Bummer. I will be in PA. Take lots of pics and post. Have a great time if you go!
  23. Allis-Chalmers bought the Buda Engine Company in 1953. Buda was founded in 1881 and based in Harvey.
  24. Happy Birthday
