  1. I talked to Barry today and he and his crew will be there late Wednesday evening. The BMT mug shot is typically on Saturday at noon (the infamous BMT nooner).
  2. mackdaddy...may not be a good idea to let your Aussie friends drive the Valueliner here in the states. They may drive on the "wrong" side of the highway.
  3. Happy Birthday and many more!
  4. And then there are wind turbine farms and turbines along the top of mountains. Not only ugly but can be noisy (if you live close) and ultimately I feel they will alter the wind/weather patterns.
  5. Paul, I agree. A lot of history, most of it gone along Routes 30 and 22 in PA. Both major trucking routes and alternatives to PA Turnpike. PA recently voted to turn the abandoned turnpike roadway east of Breezewood and two (2) tunnels (Rays Hill and Sideling Hill) into a bike path. Several vids on YouTube showing the roadway and tunnels. Kudos to Tom for taking the lesser traveled routes and posting pics for us to see.
  6. Found this on YouTube...
  7. Was on Rt. 30 Tuesday morning headed east. I tried Rt. 30 because of construction on Rt. 22. Rt. 30 is WORSE than 22 as far as signal lights, hills, and those dang coal buckets. So back to 22. When on 30 did you stop at and pay homage to the Ship Hotel?
  8. And you said it was not show worthy but it is good enough for TV. Hmmm
  9. Not familiar with the "stock" B shield. Does it have large round holes or smaller round holes? My guard has smaller round holes (see pic) that I bought locally at Cross Truck; Canton, OH. Do not remember the manufacturer but can find out if this is the style.
  10. My MH parts book shows 32MK3104M and subs to 2511 2965. Price (year old) I have from Watt is $227US.
  11. I always use OE branded filters in my vehicles. And yes, not all filters are alike.
  12. Same with the farmers. City folks move to the country or housing developments and then they bitch complain about the dust, noise, and smell. When I was a kid and we had cattle, I made sure I spread an extra amount of shit manure close to the fence row.
  13. Since it is my trailer, I want to be on the interview team.
  14. and French maid (female preferred).
  15. Installed six (6) of eight L-type tie downs today. Spaced them about 6' apart on each side starting just inside the rear door. Two (2) more to install in the lower front drop area. Going to anchor them with wood screws. Since they are in front, don't need that much strength. These tie downs will not hold a large tractor or Mack truck but should hold the goof cart, garden tractor, or similar size vehicle.
  16. Nice pics. I hate stove pipe stacks, even if they are on a Mack. What a waste. And the wantabe big rigger in the Ford....no comment.
  17. Talked to my State Farm agent about goof cart coverage. I was told it is not covered under the homeowner's nor liability umbrella policies. Due to the fact that it will be operated on public property rather than my own private property. So I added insurance to the cart...only $17 per year. ATHS seems insistant about coverage and must show proof before they will issue a sticker.
  18. If anyone wants to use the trailer as a "lounge", bring your own broom and duster.
  19. genco...I like the idea of idle when not engaged. What brand and model? How long have you owned/used it? Any issues? What is the difference in Honda GCV, GC, and GX engines? Ryobi advertises "idle-down technology".
  20. Inclined to buy the Harbor Freight 2500psi/3gpm Model 69734 for $280. It has adjustable pressure, 212cc engine, and stainless plungers. It is likely made in Chiner but the reviews are good. I know you get what you pay for. Second choice is Generac 2800psi/2.5gpm Model 6596 at Lowes for $299 (196cc engine, adj. press??). Hot water would be ideal for caked dirt and grease but they are very expensive. Looked at rental...$53 for 4 hours or $100 a day. Couple rentals will pay for a washer. Comments?
  21. I am considering the purchase of a gas powered cold water pressure washer to use for mostly washing vehicles (cars, trucks, and tractors). Looking at around 2800psi and 2.5gpm. Vertical or horizontal shaft engine? Harbor Freight has a couple models for $276. Generac offers a few in the $299-$399 range. Looked at Lowes and Home De Pot. Any suggestions and features? Or just use the manual method - bucket, long handled brush, and hose? $400 / $65 = 6+ washes at Blue Beacon and its paid. P.S. Got the raspberries from the local JD dealer when I recently traded my X540 for a new X590. X540 was not washed since new in 2012. And the MH, I take it to the hand wash spot to hose off the big chunks otherwise spray bottle of cleaner and towels. Trailer...nada.
  22. I too have my Mack, albeit not an "antique", insured thru State Farm. I never had my truck appraised. I hear others talk about Haggerty Insurance. Hmmm, Smithville...did you happen to buy the Mack wrecker from Massillon a few years ago? I heard it went west toward Wooster.
  23. I received updated information from ATHS about the truck wash at York. There will be a crew that will only "hose down" your truck....no soap nor scrub. It is located before the photo area. First come first served. It is also FREE. Blue Beacon has a wash near Carlisle and also Breezywood. I will likely stop at Breezywood and get a "soap scrub". Cost for TT is $65.50. Might be worth it to get a "good cleaning".
  24. Alex, Hamburgers and pizza eh.
  25. Something about that Mack dealer looks very familiar!
