  1. Music to my ears. I miss the sound of a V8 Diesel engine.
  2. I am currently living on the home farm in Roaring Spring (my home town). Roaring Spring phone prefix is 224. Google shows 729 as a Roaring Spring prefix but it has to be a recent addition (never saw that one before). I doubt if any of these trucks are that current although possible. The only quarry I know here is New Enterprise Stone and Lime and all their trucks are RED. Actually the quarry borders on the home farm. If anyone can provide more details, I will investigate. One of the trucks has "Meadville" on the door. Meadville is north of Pittsburgh.
  3. Other than BMT, what else is there to do on the computer? One can buy only so many things from Amazon and fleabay.
  4. I attended the past 4 years and enjoy seeing everything. But I was unable to attend this year due to family issues. Thursday is the best day...less crowded. Friday afternoon and Saturday the place is a zoo!
  5. 13L engine is a MaxxForce13 (based on MANN engine). The 15L engine (MaxxForce15) is joint CAT/IH designed/developed (block is CAT C15)
  6. Larry - I hope you had both hands on the steering wheel.
  7. I am definitely going with a straight pipe, stainless from the turbo to the vertical elbow. Then a 6'-7' chrome vertical straight pipe with curved outlet. My friend where I have it stored has a R dump with E6-300 and straight pipe. He said it is only loud when loaded and pulling hard. I hope to have in a few weeks. I will keep you posted.
  8. I started my MH today. The last time it ran was December 2011. I did not charge the batteries and it was running after 2 revolutions. I removed the exhaust pipe and am taking it to Grand Rock to have a new one made from stainless. I am going to put a straight chrome stack on it rather then a muffler.
  9. How much is shipping to OHIO USA (44718)?
  10. Great website! Lots interesting information. Thanks! I never knew Mack manufactured a set-back front axle F model.
  11. Pic of some of my "toys". Left to right - 1972 4320 (predecessor to the 4430), 1968 3020, and 1990 4455. All are original paint and relatively low hours. Enjoy!!
  12. Hi Fred! Looking good! Did you get it running?
  13. super nice liner!! I would almost trade my MH for this one.
  14. Jay, I would like to attend your meeting. But I will be on a jet to Idaho on business for two (2) weeks. Enjoy the food, meeting, and talking trucks!
  15. I like the green R model and trailer. Sweet looking truck. Money hungry thieves!!!!
  16. I like it!
  17. Nice buy and welcome to the zoo!
  18. My guess is real but I need the "touch test" to verify. Fake ones usually just "sit there" and do not move.
  19. Fried pickles are my favorite.....in addition to breasts and legs.
  20. I am a breast man too!
  21. can we get back to the "balcony" or "tee shirt?
  22. Here is the link to the online Mack Bulldog magazine: http://www.macktruck...aspx?pageid=137
  23. Thx for the pics. My first truck was a 1962 Mack H67T single axle with an END673P engine and duplex transmission. So H's are near and dear to my heart.
  24. Thanks to all the veterans!!!!!!
