Only three (3) days until DCR's (Denny's) show in Hubbard, OH. Forecast is for a few showers and high in the low 50s. If the "spudmobile" starts I will be there!

Ohio Turnpike Tolls Expected to Rise Jan. 1

I set my cruise at 65mph and pass most of the trucks. The only vehicles I do not pass are the trucks going 80mph+ and most four wheelers. The only way to get more truck traffic on the turnpike (in my opinion) is to lower the tolls. When the speed limit was 65mph, the highway patrol never stopped anyone unless they were going over 80mph. Now they probably don't stop anyone unless they are going over 85mph. And the food on both the OH and PA turnpikes is "worthless". Bring back the old HoJos sit down restaurants that used to be on the PA turnpike. -

They raised the speed limit to 70mph to get more trucks on the turnpike and off the state routes. Now they raise the tolls. Makes sense to me. -

White smoke is usually an indication of unburned raw fuel. It can be caused by too much fuel, low compression, or bad injector(s). Does it smell like fuel or coolant?

What you mean is "wasn't someone supposed to remind someone to blow a siren to remind us of the photo shoot?" I still think if Barry brought some of those "special" hood ornaments we would have been at the tent already. Maybe Rob would have been there for the shoot.

I have some photos of the Superliners taken from on top of the hill by the highway. I am having problems reading my Compact Flash card (need a new reader). Stay tuned. UPDATE: I bought a new card reader and was able to download the images I shot on Saturday. I made a Gallery (2011 Gerhart's - Superliners) and posted some pictures. I will post more as I get time to reduce the file size. Enjoy!
