  1. Hi Greg! Is she available to polish my truck?
  2. I have a basic Bostrom T915 in my truck. I think all the seat manufacturers use the same mounting bolt pattern. I may be wrong (will not be the first nor last time).
  3. Barry - thanks for all you do for this forum. The stainless was difficult to read on my monitor. I went back to blue. Of course I am partial to blue.
  4. I don't even want the hear about the GB! What is really sad about this is these girls (if you want to call them that) are real!
  5. Another nice vid! Thanks! What no scantily clad females or Rob's Poster Babes riding on the back? What a waste of a flat bed!
  6. Thanks for the video greg! enjoyed the ride. I see you pegged the speedo at 70, way to go!
  7. I just lost my appetite (and breakfast)!
  8. Do the girls come with the trucks? The trucks are probably cheaper to maintain than the girls.
  9. Send your VIN to the Mack Museum and they will tell you all about your truck. As many on here will tell you, post some pictures of your truck. Welcome and good luck in your restoration!
  10. The fuel sipping ad that I remember was the bulldog with a wine glass filled with diesel fuel.
  11. I always thought the Generals were nice looking trucks. Thanks for posting the picture.
  12. Shoes? I never noticed! Killer B looks awesome. Love the paint scheme.
  13. I asked one of the ladies inside the Customer Center about the truck and she just said "watch for an announcement".
  14. If you have a bill of sale you should not need to worry about the DOT stuff. Make sure you have insurance before you start home. And as Mike said "drive it like you stole it!"
  15. Thanks for posting the great pics. Too bad Allentown is not like that today. Headquarters/assembly plant/engineering center = gone! At least the engineering building/grounds are being used by the Mack museum and as a customer center.
  16. That's me (the bald headed old fart with the light blue shirt) on Doug's left. It was a great show and great to meet some fellow BMT members.
  17. Doug is a star and his female co-star isn't bad either!
  18. Great pictures! Much better than mine. Thanks for posting!
  19. I made it to Macungie with my MH this afternoon. Wow what a show!! I was surprised to see so many trucks of all brands. I took 127 images today. The grounds are beautiful with trucks sitting everywhere. Words can't describe the show, you have to be here! Congrats to Doug and everyone else for putting this venue together.
  20. Well I am batting 1000 - got the pyrometer fixed. During removal of the old thermocouple I broke the fitting (I don't think it was ever changed). I had to drill out the hole and retap it. I installed the new thermocouple. When I connected the wiring lead I noticed one of the wires was broken. So I spliced the wires and checked it out. IT WORKS! The problem was the wiring harness but at least I have a new thermocouple and fitting. Life is good!
  21. I was able to get the light/gauge issue resolved. I jumpered a wire from the fuel gauge ground to the panel screw. Next week will be the "shakedown" run to Macungie. I changed the pyrometer and that did not resolve the temperature issue. I ordered a new thermocouple ($70) which I hope fixes this one. Thermocouple will be in next week and I will install it before I head to PA. I also installed a new radio. The new one is about an inch deeper than the old one. I had to cram 10 pounds of crap into a 5 pound bag.
