  1. Larry, I was thinking of Perry Diesel. Contact Barry @ Watt. He might have a suggestion. I don't think Cross Truck does pumps but might be worth a call. There is a shop in Akron (on Arlington south of 224) that does pumps. I will try to find their contact information. UPDATE: Yes R&R Engine & Machine on Swartz. Surprised they are not able to reset. Perhaps someone can supply a part number.
  2. A hight amp alternator should okay as long as they match. I recently replaced my 100amp Remy with a Remy 140amp. Bigger is okay but again, make sure the mounting and terminals are the same. I am no expert but just going on my experience. Good luck!
  3. My offer for the MH Rescue truck was turned down. They are going to use Fenton Fire Equipment to market the truck. Good luck to whom ever buys it. BTW, Christmas is in a couple months. So if anyone is looking for a present to buy me.....this could be it.
  4. Yes, Marcel's truck....very nice! Who else's truck is on the calendar?
  5. Leslie, If you want to take a road trip to NE, let me know. We would have to do it soon before the wwwwwhite stuff flies. My November schedule is open.
  6. My saying is "you need to know where you are going before you take a trip if you are going to use a GPS". I use it to monitor speed, direction, elevation, distance, general directions, and upcoming streets, exits, and turns. I do not have a "trucker" version but I use the GPS in the MH to track distance and speed to compare to the odometer/speedometer.
  7. Yes, looking at the pic one can see it was likely a pickup. The "bed" is cutoff behind the cab. I think it would be nice to see in person...a mini semi.
  8. Yes. Checked dealers and PDC = nothing. That is why I am looking for a used one. If it were available from Mack I would already have one (or two). I contacted the manufacturer of each lamp and NOTHING.
  9. Hey BC, Sorry for not giving you credit for the pic. I had these in my files and don't remember who sent/posted them. I will take either one, early or later style, just as long as it is in excellent condition. Thanks!
  10. Did you send a note to Barry?
  11. Larry, Check with your "fuel pump shop". They should have tubing and ability to bend to match.
  12. Still on the hunt for an excellent condition center headliner mounted combination dome/reading lamp for my MH. This lamp is mounted in the headliner of Level III and Level IV interiors. This is not the lamp that is mounted above and at the bottom of the driver's and passenger's doors. The early style (used in 83-91) is 22MO349 (aluminum base) and the later style (used in 92-93) is 22MO4234M2 (black plastic base). There is another version of the later style (22MO4234M) that was installed in Roadway CHs. The "Roadway" lamp can be modified (connector change) to work.
  13. Saw this in the recent edition of East Ohio Auto & RV magazine. No connection just thought it is an interesting vehicle. http://www.autorv.com/browse.aspx?AdName=CEMI3155017
  14. Switch to red long life coolant and remove the conditioning filter.
  15. Not to hijack this thread.... Leon, When are you and Rene coming to the USA?
  16. If only it was a single axle...
  17. The hotel where I stay is the Hawthorne Suites in Fogelsville. It is about 10 miles north of Macungie off route 100. I think there is a B&B in Macungie but no hotels within about a 10 mile radius. As FWD posted, there will be a new thread on the Macungie show later this year or early next year. But mark your calendar for 2016 Father's Day weekend (Friday and Saturday).
  18. That is what happens when you hang out with Yardo!
  19. Welcome to BMT. How did a PA truck get to FLA? BTW, we like pics.
  20. Rear frame - 33.75" x 9.5" Front is 42.25" RWII and MH used the same frame.
  21. I blew by you on the green stamp in my red HHR (west of the Lancaster interchange - 266). Busy? Likely BSing with someone....you should have stopped and introduced yourself.
  22. b61, Was that you headed west on PA green stamp Saturday after lunch pulling a trailer with a R cab?
  23. It belongs to the one and only, infamous, all knowing (great in his own mind)...39 Baby Mack...Ronnie S.
  24. Although the weather outside was cold and damp, there were some that drove their trucks for all to see - thank you. I guess the final count was around 40. I am not faulting anyone for not bringing their truck and I must admit I did not drive the MH. But you "short time visitors", did you stop inside Gerhart's shop and talk to other BMT members? Many of us were there from Thursday afternoon thru Saturday. I very much enjoyed the show and the inclimate weather allowed us ample time to sit and talk "trucks". One of the best parts of any show is to meet and talk with other BMT members and truck owners. The weather allowed me time to see old friends and make new friends. The Friday night meal was an excellent opportunity to "sit around and talk trucks". So if you came to Gerhart's to "just look at trucks" or "no show" because of the weather, you missed the best part of the show - the people. As for the weather, if you were cold...did you check the forecast and "dress appropriately". Thanks to Doug and his crew for another GREAT event. Thanks also to Roger Gerhart for being a gracious host and allowing us to utilize his shop and property for this event. It was a success in my book even though the weather did not cooperate.
