    Jim, I always stay at the Rodeway Inn in Akron, PA. An old style motel (park at the door), nothing fancy but clean. I do not recommend the Stupid 8 on the east side of Lancaster. No breakfast but I chow down at the Litiitz Family Cupboard Restaurant just down the road from Gerhart's (Oregon Farms isn't bad either). Don't forget the "clam bake" on Friday night at Gerhart's...come hungry!

    The "guy" in the potato truck is sitting in Carlisle PA with no trailer taillights. Been here since 4p Saturday night. Waited over 1-1/2 hours at Petro for a tech to look at the trailer. Was told it would be another 2 hours so I said "f it! Bought a new cable for $100 but that did not resolve the issue. Was getting dark so I got a room at Stupid 8. Waiting on daylight so I can go home and troubleshoot it myself. Great show, great trucks, and great people. Thanks for posting some pics.

    This Saturday September 12th. One needs to be preregistered to show a vehicle and attend the noon luncheon. Otherwise, there is no registration required for spectators.

    Doug, Count me in! Put in a request for Emily to be my personal NIT. She needs a "personal tutor". On a side note, anyone staying near Fogelsville? Need transportation to the hotel Friday night and from the hotel Saturday morning. PM me if you can help. Otherwise I will be using the MH for personal transportation.

    Jim, Thanks for bringing the Mack and Dodge and sharing your pics/story. I enjoyed talking with you and hope to see you again soon. There are still Trucktoberfest (Sept 12), Winchester (Sept 24-26), and Gerhart's (October 3) shows this year.

    Randy, Don't use the orange Sta-bil, use the GREEN MARINE Sta-bil. I treat all my gasoline at the higher "storage" rate, 1oz for each 5gal. Knock on wood, no issues. Also, there is a bill (H.B. 471) in the PA House to stop adding ethanol to gasoline. Contact your local House representative and ask him/her to support H.B. 471.
