  1. Rear frame - 33.75" x 9.5" Front is 42.25" RWII and MH used the same frame.
  2. I blew by you on the green stamp in my red HHR (west of the Lancaster interchange - 266). Busy? Likely BSing with someone....you should have stopped and introduced yourself.
  3. b61, Was that you headed west on PA green stamp Saturday after lunch pulling a trailer with a R cab?
  4. It belongs to the one and only, infamous, all knowing (great in his own mind)...39 Baby Mack...Ronnie S.
  5. Although the weather outside was cold and damp, there were some that drove their trucks for all to see - thank you. I guess the final count was around 40. I am not faulting anyone for not bringing their truck and I must admit I did not drive the MH. But you "short time visitors", did you stop inside Gerhart's shop and talk to other BMT members? Many of us were there from Thursday afternoon thru Saturday. I very much enjoyed the show and the inclimate weather allowed us ample time to sit and talk "trucks". One of the best parts of any show is to meet and talk with other BMT members and truck owners. The weather allowed me time to see old friends and make new friends. The Friday night meal was an excellent opportunity to "sit around and talk trucks". So if you came to Gerhart's to "just look at trucks" or "no show" because of the weather, you missed the best part of the show - the people. As for the weather, if you were cold...did you check the forecast and "dress appropriately". Thanks to Doug and his crew for another GREAT event. Thanks also to Roger Gerhart for being a gracious host and allowing us to utilize his shop and property for this event. It was a success in my book even though the weather did not cooperate.
  6. Randy, Leversole is an "easy pickup". Offer food and he is ready to go.
  7. Does that mean you are driving your superdog? I am not bringing my MH.
  8. I been watching the weather forecast....rain, rain, and more rain thru Monday. I decided not to drive the MH/trailer to the show. I will still try to attend the show but will drive my HHR or D150 instead. Gerhart's can get "soupy" when it is wet. Rain may also put the damper on my visit to Carlisle Fall Swap Meet on Wednesday. But look on the bright side....it is not SNOW. Signed...wishing for 70 degrees and sunny for Thursday thru Saturday.
  9. I am almost certain it is my old truck. When I sold it, it had an 18' flat bed. Did you get a cereal number?
  10. Josh, Sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. As BnBP posted...there is always next year.
  11. Tom, Good to see you on Friday afternoon. Thanks for posting pics from Winchester, over 250 vehicles by Saturday afternoon. fxfymn and I were the only BMT members (that I know of) with trucks at the show. MHfred chickened out and did not bring his MH (because of rain in the forecast). However it did not rain, overcast but no rain. BTW, I think I saw the same girl running past the fairgrounds when I left around 3pm this afternoon (Saturday).
  12. Nice pics. Thanks for posting. I am almost positive that H67 was my old truck. Did it have an 18' flat bed on the back?
  13. Just checked to forecast. Rain late Friday night into Saturday. I will check the forecast on Thursday morning and decide if I am going to drive the MH.
  14. Hmmm, maybe I will have my own show at the farm...me, myself, and I. And I was planning to sleep in the trailer. Don't like rain!
  15. Murf, Trucks start arriving as early as 8a (some earlier). Most vendors open around 9a. Perhaps Doug will chime in and tell us the "official" schedule.
  16. Rich, Are you bringing a Mack too?
  17. JT, Thanks for the pics. Like the farm tractors. My MH would look out of place there...too much shiny chrome. Too bad about the General...get out and PRACTICE!
  18. Dodge V6 (3.9L) is the same basic engine as the V8 318 (5.2L). Same idea as the GM 4.3L V6 (same basic engine as 5.7L 350 V8). The first 3.9L engines were not a powerhouse (I don't think any were) and being a 4WD probably not too fuel efficient.
  19. The "rough idle" could be a money pit. Could be something simple or complex especially with electronic and emissions controls. I am in agreement with Dirtymilkman....$1000, $1500 tops especially with 190K miles. Hmmm...I wonder what my late dad's 1990 D150 2WD Club Cab with 360V8 and 35K original miles is worth???
  20. Next!
  21. Contact Barry for a nametag. He designed a nice nametag that I wore at Macungie. I will bring it to Winchester and Gerhart's.
  22. Something to keep in mind...there are only a few filter manufacturers and they all make filters for various suppliers. However, each supplier may have a different specification so the filters made by a manufacturer may not be the same quality. But at the end of the day I was never impressed with FRAM. The only way to check a filter is to cut it open and compare. As I posted previously, I only use OE filters in my vehicles.
  23. Lots of MHs!
  24. Carl, Sorry to hear about your tire issues but good to hear you are safe and made it home. My trip was not an event free one either. When I arrived in Allentown, a freeze plug at the rear of the engine block was "dripping" coolant. I put a tube of Stop-Leak in the coolant and it "seems to work - dry, no drips, no errors, no runs". On the return trip Saturday afternoon I stopped in Carlisle to "take a leak". Another trucker told me the trailer had no taillights. So after a couple hours of "screwing around", I holed up at the Stupid 8 (getting dark and did not want to run the PA greenstamp without taillights). I waited until daylight on Sunday morning and drove to the farm. Today I resolved the light issue - loose wire on the inside of the tractor recepticle. The wire connector screws are rusted but I was able to "wedge" the wire into the terminal for a temporary fix. I will need to replace the recepticle and freeze plug after Winchester (keeping my fingers crossed).
