  1. Lol that story sounds like Did you put the 4 barrel carb, headers, and cam on that 250 or did you swap in something else?
  2. Do the new truck even have locking power dividers as an option anymore or do they have some sort of auto system now? A switch that could grenade the powertrain if used improperly seems like a bad idea, just like expecting drivers to shift their own gears and have common sense.
  3. This guy looks healthier than most of truckers that are 30+ years younger! These are the type of guys farmers are always looking for when hiring a trucker for the season. The younger guys might move a bit faster but they tear up the equipment in the process. What was the biggest change in trucking? Well tubeless tires of course! lol
  4. I get a new one of those calendars from my bank every year but the newer trucks don't have as many places to put em. Once they get wet they are not much of a use either.
  5. Is this truck air ride? It might be to dump the bags. Our truck had the bag dump and diff lock switches in the middle and top of the dash. I know the cartoons warn you about red buttons but I'd say flip it and find out!
  6. I was not able to open this one, your last google drive link worked for me. I can't say I've been around a 307. its an early 70s smog engine is all I know about em.
  7. Was just curious if you had some cool swap planned for it. I also have quite the hoard of stuff like that, probably will never use a lot of it but it feels nice to have spares of everything. Nice win on the reduction starter, probably worth buying just for that. Been around a lot of 305s in vans and suburbans. Terrible experience with em in worn out vans but the 80s-90s Suburbans are pretty nice. With the 35 gallon tank and 15+ if you take it easy will give you a nice 500 mile range. Thats enough rambling from me
  8. Whats your plans with it?
  9. Seeing reactions to Trumps cat comment makes me wonder how sheltered some people really are. I know quite a few immigrants and people whos parents are illegal immigrants and even they don't deny that stuff like that happens. How do people NOT see this kinda stuff?! Where in the world are these people living with no interactions with illegal immigrants?
  10. Yes definitely make sure it's latched before you crawl under there! Check the cab hinges too and make sure they are in good shape and greased. Its a 30+ year mechanical motor so it takes some getting used to when your only around electronically controlled stuff. Check your boost pressure, it should be in the 20-30s depending on load. Macks don't let the fuel rack move much until there is boost so if there is a boost leak it could be your issue. Being a 1991 it should have the E7. Very nice truck!
  11. This pretty much sums it up...
  12. Looks better than any farm truck seat I've seen lol. Like the corduroy look
  13. An unrealized gains tax?! How many times do I have to say it, how dumb could someone possibly be? There is no denying the malicious intent of that one. Make the Great Depression great again! Should be there slogan On that note I better start canning my garden stuffs.
  14. How many years was the BCR program available? Was it through the dealer or did they send them back up to the factory to be reconfigured? I've seen pictures of R's with the BCR emblem on the side but had no idea what It meant until now.
  15. This it? What an unassuming truck to be #1! If I saw it at a show I probably would've walked right past it without even realizing.
  16. The 1693 was originally released as a D343 in bulldozers and such in 1960, the truck version wasn't released until the mid-60s. After doing some more reading I doubt a 1693 ever made it into a B series from factory but It would be cool rig if one did.
  17. I think my dog piper turned 6 or 7 this year too. Used to be a great bird dog but now she just digs up out tomatoes lol
  18. The guy that rebuilt his Mh's shifter had to cross reference a lot of the parts, specifically the U-joints. "The U joint on the shift linkage is a Rockwell L6N or MOOG 861 if anyone ever need to look" Probably a different setup on a cruiseliner but it could be the same U-Joint.
  19. Was the 1693 Cat ever an option in the B series? I've heard of a few early R models that got em.
  20. Never knew a B model could fit a 3406(B Im guessing). Lots of 3406s around here still, great motors.
  21. Nice looks like a whole new motor Good Ol bare bones truck too, looks like it's got no A/C but the power steering is probably nice.
  22. I see a lot of those Kodak trucks for sale that are completely rusted out but that one seems to be in good shape. Does that have a cherry picker on it?
  23. A guy on here rebuilt the shift tower on an Mh awhile back, not sure if there would be any similarities. Do Cruiseliners have a shift tower like an Mh or do they have the older style that goes in between the seat to the floor?
  24. I forgot Mack made those for a time, M813 I think is what they are called. Lots of companies made M series trucks for government use but I haven't seen too many being used to haul grain, especially around here. A 6x6 would probably be pretty nice hauling grain off those hills. Lots of cool family made rigs in this film, be cool to see what they are up to today.
  25. I found it up on YouTube: That guy in Colorado did the same thing back in 2004
