  1. Looks better than any farm truck seat I've seen lol. Like the corduroy look
  2. An unrealized gains tax?! How many times do I have to say it, how dumb could someone possibly be? There is no denying the malicious intent of that one. Make the Great Depression great again! Should be there slogan On that note I better start canning my garden stuffs.
  3. How many years was the BCR program available? Was it through the dealer or did they send them back up to the factory to be reconfigured? I've seen pictures of R's with the BCR emblem on the side but had no idea what It meant until now.
  4. This it? What an unassuming truck to be #1! If I saw it at a show I probably would've walked right past it without even realizing.
  5. The 1693 was originally released as a D343 in bulldozers and such in 1960, the truck version wasn't released until the mid-60s. After doing some more reading I doubt a 1693 ever made it into a B series from factory but It would be cool rig if one did.
  6. I think my dog piper turned 6 or 7 this year too. Used to be a great bird dog but now she just digs up out tomatoes lol
  7. The guy that rebuilt his Mh's shifter had to cross reference a lot of the parts, specifically the U-joints. "The U joint on the shift linkage is a Rockwell L6N or MOOG 861 if anyone ever need to look" Probably a different setup on a cruiseliner but it could be the same U-Joint.
  8. Was the 1693 Cat ever an option in the B series? I've heard of a few early R models that got em.
  9. Never knew a B model could fit a 3406(B Im guessing). Lots of 3406s around here still, great motors.
  10. Nice looks like a whole new motor Good Ol bare bones truck too, looks like it's got no A/C but the power steering is probably nice.
  11. I see a lot of those Kodak trucks for sale that are completely rusted out but that one seems to be in good shape. Does that have a cherry picker on it?
  12. A guy on here rebuilt the shift tower on an Mh awhile back, not sure if there would be any similarities. Do Cruiseliners have a shift tower like an Mh or do they have the older style that goes in between the seat to the floor?
  13. I forgot Mack made those for a time, M813 I think is what they are called. Lots of companies made M series trucks for government use but I haven't seen too many being used to haul grain, especially around here. A 6x6 would probably be pretty nice hauling grain off those hills. Lots of cool family made rigs in this film, be cool to see what they are up to today.
  14. I found it up on YouTube: That guy in Colorado did the same thing back in 2004
  15. My Mh had that same problem, does it go away under load? From what I've heard governor springs are usually the culprit. Finding people that work on Ambac pumps is tough but I think there are still a few out there. Finding parts is also pretty tough. Best of Luck
  16. Hope I don't seem dumb but what model of Mack was that? For sure had a Detroit! At first I thought it was some sort of military surplus Mack but I don't think those came with Detroits, plus it looks like it had an automatic. That boy sure seems to love it! He looks like he's only 14!
  17. I enjoyed that a lot Paul. At first the title confused me, there's a movie about Glen Miller the band director of the same name. Lots of familiar sites seeing those 4WD Versatiles and at the end all those sidehill Gleaners. Tough country to farm and those kids had some serious skill running equipment and such through those hills! GPS has spoiled me! I can't hardly make straight rows on flat ground anymore never mind hills! I could ramble on for hours about that film but I won't. Since Seyser shared a pic of his rubber tracked challenger I thought I'd share my Deere:
  18. My favorite is still Kamala the Chameleon. She can change her ethnicity to whatever fits the room
  19. Welcome to the forum! That Mack looks like it's worked hard its whole life, glad its getting restored. What engine and transmission does it have in it?
  20. I know a guy with a mid 90s international with a M11 cummins and a super 10 transmission. Never drove it but he said the previous owner would get 10+ mpg when he was pulling around his horse trailer with it. https://videos.eaton.com/roadranger/detail/videos/manual-transmissions/video/2253044304001/driving-the-super-10?autoStart=true
  21. I was thinking the same thing Mark. The early 11.1 Detroits had a system like that where it would make something like 50+ more horsepower when the cruise control was turned on. I guess you'd want something like that in a fleet where drivers couldn't be trusted with that extra horsepower.
  22. Don't know how I missed this one! I love these old D2s! I'd like to pick one up one day but my hoarding problem has left me with no space. Since we're sharing photos here's one of my grandpa planting milo with a Cat in the 50s. Not sure what model it was.
  23. The more I look at it the more I think it was something cobbled together at a later date. The tank looks like it would be from that era but the wheels look like they were put on later. Still would be cool to have it paired up with a 20s or 30s Mack.
  24. Oops that's my bad. I was talking to a guy last night who had a RD and a MX-18 off road truck, also lived in the Tennessee area. Odd coincidence!
  25. A guy from the Netherlands was trying to make a scale model of a Rd800 awhile back ago but he hasn't posted in a while. I also couldn't find many ads or spec sheets for the RD's. Are you AppalachianRust from YouTube? I want to see a scale model of one of those off road Macks!
