Hey nice truck! Even better if it has the 300 6 You'd probably only get about $500 for it anyway so what's the point of selling it. I got mine for $800 am I'm getting every penny I can out of it.

lol that's video is awesome! The "tough guys" around here still do everything the "old fashion way" and wind up getting mangled. But the fat chicks love it! You guys down there in Australia have had it figured out, we just like wasting everyone's time playing cowboy. One LandCruiser should do the work of about 10 guys on horses.

At least some of the 12,000 trucks are going to come up for sale flooding the market with cheep equipment. Wonder how long we're going to keep seeing these old yellow trucks on the road. Kinda sad

Lol I'd prefer the Galaxy too. Although the Bronco is one of the last new cars that you can still get a manual transmission on, hardly anybody ever does though.

I think the new Nissan pickups look great! Heck of a lot better than the previous body style that they kept forever. Not much of a new pickup fan but looks like a good deal. Hey Paul can you still get a new Toyota pickup with a V8 diesel and 5 speed manual down in Australia? I don't remember what they call them down there, but I would buy one if they ever came to the states! Hard to get any sort of farm pickup here now.

Looks like the mega carriers luck finally ran out, Yellow and UPS both look like they're on a chopping block. Wonder if some business will fall to the little guys during the chaos of it all.

Most of the time its cheeper to just find another cheap used header. We swapped augers one time in the field and that was tough. You have to do all of the mechanicing when you're a small farm in years like this or you won't make it. We buy junk headers and combines just for parts since John Deere's pretty useless for parts anymore. Dad and I have estimated we've put $20,000 in worth of our labor into this machine last couple of years. Who could afford to bring anything into the dealers anymore?

In my downtime I run a red machine for a guy, 1688 Case and it's not doing so good through this stuff either. Not a good year for wheat anyway you look at it but milo should be better. Can't agree with you more on that! I can take the heat but not the cold Also there's not much you can do to fix a tear in the auger like that. Hard to get something that's 30ft wide to run straight again, especially with a only a stick welder and some blocks of wood. John Deere cheeped out on them

Clear plastic lines on the inlet and return fuel lines is the best way to check for air intrusion. When you crack a line it could be sucking some air in with the loose fitting making it look like bubbles since diesel kind of acts like bubble soap. Best of luck!

Been a rough weekend for me so far. Header auger I welded up broke completely through making the whole header useless. Have to switch to the draper header now which doesn't do very good in this short wheat. This years got to be the harvest that never ends plus now I'm sick so nothing got done today. Hope everyone else has a great weekend

Not really about tuning up but it helped me understand the timing process. Tuning these Macks is kind of a tricky deal, throwing more fuel at it won't do you much good. Mack spent a lot more timing tuning these engines to be used in trucks than anyone else, so anything you modify will likely just throw everything else off balance. Best of luck!

Could also be your throw out bearing. Sometimes they get damaged when you reinstall the transmission and can cause the clutch to not disengage. Might try just greasing it and seeing if that helps. I would put the transmission in gear with the engine off then with the clutch pushed in start the engine to see if your clutch is working at all. It won't work if its in a shop but I've freed up some stuck clutches that way before. -
Does the shifter feel different than before? And what happens when you try to put it in gear does it grind or does it do nothing at all? Could be that the forks internal to the transmission are broken or misaligned if the transmission is a different one or has been rebuilt. Had that happen once on a pickup. Best of luck

Northern New Mexico or Southern? There's a lot of treasures up there in those mountains. I know of some sweet International Transtars up there.

I didn't know that about them making stuff for the aviation business. I've seen pictures of the old uranium and nuke haulers during the Cold War and some of them were Marmons.

aluminum dump bed liner for farm use?

Be careful hauling grain with that If your dumping into any sort of pit, unless it already has a sort of smaller grain door on the back of the dump bed. Dad was hauling with an old dump bed one time and dumped the whole load at once by accident and it screwed up the elevator so bad it was down for a couple weeks. Just a word of caution, and I agree with the plywood idea but I would take them out once a year and clean out under them. -
They come up for sale every now and then. They made an E3 too but I think they have one cylinder head instead of multiple like the E5. Does anyone know what Renault called these engines? Were they a 100% Renault design with all metric or did they have some Mack in em? And wow I didn't know Mack brought over Scania engines for their own trucks. What model of engine were they labeled and sold as?

Do you know what they were mining or using it for in Pratt? Thats right next door to me but I've never heard of or been around any mine in Pratt. Theres a salt mine in Hutch and a Quarry up by hays and that's about it.

Just 30 feet but the original design was for 24 feet, John Deere stretched it out but that made the middle always crack or break. My dad's made cowboy candy before with our garden peppers. Not the biggest fan but what else can you do with them.

Welp rained for the past 4 days. Still need to get some wheat in but I don't think it'll ever dry out now. Header auger cracked so at least I had some downtime to weld it back up. just needs to hold a bit longer... Anyone else have a better Friday?

Nice lookin garden! Tractor parade sounds fun too, would love to drive my Farmall cub in one someday. Just starting to get green beans from our garden, only have got one tomato so far but many more are on their way. Peppers are coming on strong but the soil around here's make's them so terribly hot that you cannot do much with them. The dog made a tunnel underneath the tomato plants and now all of our animals spend the whole day in there.
