  2. So if Orange man is so bad.. and tarriffs are going to kill us.... Why is Walmart going to remodel 600 Sams Club stores starting now, and build 150 per year for the next 10 years.... The Lib news spews fear about the economy, but one of the biggest companies in the U.S. is going to spend hundreds of millions on upgrades... I wonder how dumb I am ????? Why invest in your company if there wont be many customers???
  3. It needs to be torqued in place for real.. not just tight... 500+ lbft... The tool your looking for is the yoke you push down through the top opening to hold the clutch pack. Thats my guess.. totaly needed for in chassis removal of the back box... Does OTC have it?
  4. Your a blessing.
  5. Mech... You laugh at me,, luv it... But i was wrong... You were right G.W. told me so... Thanks again for laughing... 🍻
  6. Mech.. no lie here... After getting out of the road call business... I will never go back !!!! Im going to my last customer this Friday to show his son how to service his 2006 Topkick C-8500.. His father is more then happy to pay me to do this .. its not coming close to how hard i have worked before . They were impressed by the repairs i made in Aug. Of '22 and have asked me twice now to do this.. With respect,,, i owe it to them..

  8. Any chance the steer hubs are packed with grease ?
  9. Steer axle fills through the hub cap..
  10. Same oil in both. The check/fill plug is at the rear of the banjo housing. When these rears have been filled, you only check and fill at that rear plug. The oil is carried from the bowl throughout the carrier via the gears and troughs.... 🍻

  12. The front drive has 3 drain and fill plugs, the rear has 2. Are you replacing the oil or topping it off??
  13. I think 80W-90 is sufficient, it has been used here for decades. Some guys use 80-140 also... Do you have a chart that shows what grade oil for the climate you live in?

  20. When you had the valve covers off, did you remove the rocker shafts and use a small straight edge to check valve stem height? Do you know which cylinder is acting up? Did you pull the engine brake celenoids to inspect the sealing rings, are all the push rods properly seated in the lifters? Ok... Ill stop here. Good luck. Oopps, 1 more thing... Are the valve bridges set evenly to .010" ? Ok thats it ..
