  1. Damn, they sure did a good job placing the emblem 😁
  2. Im glad im not around them.. I can handle this set up..
  3. Im currently teaching a co worker how to drive a big truck. Im using a Ford/Sterling tandem dump truck. It has a whimpy Cummins and an 8 LL.. He is excited to learn. Friday, we were on a job site, so i let him run the truck. He did good, and let me teach him. He takes his permit test in 2 weeks. Then the real training starts. Im going to be a certified trainer, just waiting for the cert.... I find out tomorrow.
  4. Ive been around a few 3208's. Always heard them called boat anchors.. But for some reason, i think i would like the engine. The few that i drove for short periods seemed ok. But im not a wealth of knowledge. 🤔
  5. My wife is selling her Daddys truck. Its a sweet truck. 38,000 miles. 305, 4bbl, auto. Runs great, drives like new. $13,000.00
  6. I have seen the relay stick a few times. fjh, is on to something. Ive even seen them crank the engine after shutting the door, as if there was something loose inside it.
  7. My wife had wanted work on the house for about 5 years. I felt it was time to shut her up... Aughta last about a month, then shell find another thing to speak about...
  8. I have cross reference material in my shop, but i would have to sift through dozens of books and hundreds of paper buletins..
  9. t These are the set up caps I use for Metric Eatons. You can use 1'' X 1/4'' flat stock, and drill the hole in them. make sure the flat stock is long enough to span the hole in the rear covers. then use a bolt threaded in to the center of the counter shaft to hold the counter shaft straight. Dont tighten the bolts real tight, as the countershafts will need to turn a bit to get meshed. I dont remember the thread size for your shafts. I'm thinking 7/16''x14 UNC but may be a M10x1.50.. I hope this helps you.
  10. One more tip.. when you put the rear bearing covers on, use a small amount of grease on the shims and stick them to the ends of the shafts to hold in place while putting the covers on.
  11. Im sorry i missed the show yesterday. I was building a small deck and steps for my back door and couldnt take a break. Im sure the LJ was a hit. I too made donations and it helped with posting pictures, and yes, why not send some money to support Barry's efforts.. 👍
  12. Do you have any straps or old rear bearing covers with holes drilled in them to out the caging bolts in the countershafts, for reassembly ?
  13. So the parts store cant cross reference the clutch for you. I wish I had a catalog to help you. Sorry bud .. hopefully GW will tell you what you need
  14. I had the impression that you wanted a different clutch than a CL-75.
  15. Fair enough. No need to swap if it is not going to be a workhorse..
  16. Have you considered a flywheel from an E-7 ? Its 15 1/2", and you can get an Eaton Easy Pedal clutch. You can also get it in H.D. more springs and paddles. 9+7... Ive done a few. Lets see what the guys say..
  17. Pull the figure 8 looking cover off the range shifters on the rear of the trans and look for a loose shaft nut and/or a cracked piston. No special tools needed. The gasket/ oring kits and the filter regulator on the back is still available..
  18. Its hard to not know their names.. its everywhere.
  19. The Devil entered the Vatican with Francis, now hes picking out new drapes... This next 20 years will prove it..
  20. Beauty and Humor... You WON !!!!!
  21. No it wont, the oil is pulled through the wire itself. The posts in the sensors have open tips, and oil was pushed through the sensor by oil pressure, and the flow of the electricity picks up the oil and carries it inside the wire strands.
