Thats a 2 valve.. if you P.M. me your address I will send you a book. It is a photo copied book, but should help you well. Recently a BMT Brother helped me find a set of books. And now I have a duplicate. Then out of nowhere, another BMT Brother sent me some gifts... Now its my turn... I will send this book to you... Jojo

Does it have rounded steel valve covers with bolts down the middle, or a more flatter aluminum valve cover with 6 bolts, 3 on each long side. ? And a breather manifold that spans both valve covers?

I use strainers like Mech said.. works great.

Drop the pan and look at the lifters. The facing on those lifters can flake off.. you may find some flakes in the oil pan..

Well i did the road call. It was a good day, his son was willing to listen, he asked a ton of questions and did almost the entire B-PM.. When i wrote the bill. Parts and labor was $400.00. He wrote me a check for $800.00. I was stunned. He said that his Dad was grateful and thankful that i would come to the house and do what i did, and share my knowledge... I got choked up.. So yes Mech, like YOU,,, there are some good people who have respect for what we do... Jojo

I think a lot of those issues with employing people is caused by govt. people who dont live at the regular worker level, and create depts. that cause problems, rather then solve them.. But if your employing illegals, no sweat, and you are a conservative who wants to improve the system, your a racist... The winners are not allowed to win...

I would love to own a Pro-Link 9000, with V-mac cards... I cut my teeth on those when I started out at the Mack Shop... Of course, i got really good with Premium Tech Tool.. but its not a feasible cost for me at this stage..

Its amazing how easy it is to destroy the American trucker... Theres no damn way that you could make a good enough living to be able to treat yourself to things like Hobbies, or a small retreat on a lake or in the mountains. All the money will be spent on keeping that P.O.S. on the road..
