  1. Hell i told him that Days ago.. anyway, just having fun with Bob..
  2. I wish you good luck.. keep us posted
  3. All that is good for sure.. there is a tool that sits on top of the coolant tank that can detect the exh gasses. You can get the tool at NAPA or any other parts store.. im still concerned about the high temps. Do you have an infrared temp gun to confirm the high temps.?
  4. Do you intend on pulling the engine ? Is it possible to have a machinist repair the crank shaft in your area ?
  5. No exhaust gasses in the coolant ?
  6. The Give-a-Damn about 911, faded years ago when Dems got more power in NYC. M. Cuomo, and E. Adams, A.O.C., C. Hochul, L. James and others...
  7. Yep, the control tower can be a pita.. still better than trying to drag the cover over the top of the tranny to go out the back, and you would have to open the hood, and jack the back if the cab as high as it can go without breaking a line under the hood,, blah blah blah... Your doing good.
  8. Yes sir. Your welcome. Sorry i couldnt get the pictures to post. Were you able to pull the cover through the floor pan ?
  9. Isnt there a square cut out in the floor mat around the shifter. ?
  10. Yes pull the top cover. Isnt there a removable floor pan under the floor mat ?
  11. If Mack cant help, a skilled radiator shop should have all the lines and fittings to build what you need. Just drive it there for them to measure, and figure the angles..
  12. Is it not picking up fuel? If so, how about looking at the fuel delivery line. It may be breaking down inside and clogging the flow if fuel.
  13. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Hp5dDV9GsUexbP5d6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/RmhCReQ7KqsXSnXR9 I tried to post pictures. no-go.. anyway. There is a lot of info in the book. Not trying to swindle you, but if you want this book I will sell it to you for $60.00, which includes shipping. I have 3 0f them, along with a dozen other books on trannys and drive lines and rear ends.. and have been wanting to sell some of them off. P.M. your info if you want to buy the book. I can still try to post pictures, but not sure how it come out..
  14. my guess is that 3/4 + 7/8 are the same shift fork and therefore the same rail. There should be a detent in the rail that will activate the shuttle valve as you pass through neutral. I need to post pictures for you, from my book, as well as get the correct description of the parts im talking about.
  15. got it.. I figured it was called low instead of 1st. after you posted. I am at odds as to why it doesnt pre-select in all the low range gears. Can you put it in 8th and pre-select low range to see if it trys to shift into low range? you should be able to do this while stopped. Im leaning towards an issue with that shift rail, but still not clear. I have the Mack book for that tranny. I may try to look at it this afternoon.
  16. 🤕 ouch
  17. I want to see what a T-313 looks like..
  18. Can you post a picture of the shift pattern decal? I have rebuilt enough 2130/2180 tranny's to know a bit, But i am curious...

I have a Pro Set, but this may be good enough for you, and be a good addition to the tool box. There are many other choices....
  20. Some, on here have made pressure testers with PVC parts. If you do that, keep in mind that when you get near 10 psi, these home made tools can pop off with a vengeance. So build it smartly.
  21. Sounds like a worn detent for the shuttle. You say 4th. But over to the right and down is 5th. Before i go too big, what recent work was done to the trans, shift cover for example ?
  22. Fuel filters?
  23. Sounds like crap work to me..
