  1. Lol hunters. Not the shiniest or cheapest pennies in the fountain.
  2. I've had to replace manifolds when the air press. sensor wears through and breaks off inside the coupler and you can't get it out without removing the manifold. In one case it was a roll-off that was filthy so my way of thinking was as such. If you go thorough that much work and there's that much dirt on all the other fittings it's just easier to cut the lines and replace the manifold. You can never get the quick fittings clean enough not to leak with you reconnect the lines. Like underdog said, depress the brass fitting and pull the lines out. Just make sure before you press the brass inward that the lines are pushed all the way in until the stop or you'll never get the inner retaining tabs to release.
  3. I hear a common rail is in the works?? Just a rumor I heard.
  4. I've been told by a couple guys that had 350 2v they would walk a 425 cat back them. I like the 350 2v, it has a good crack to it.
  5. You shouldn't replace just one leaf. Replace the pack and replace both sides. If you do one side in a very short time you will be doing the opposite side.
  6. Thanks you all for the nice comments! ECM got a bunch of trucks that's all I've seen for the last several weeks. All day cabs and even a few with blowers on them for their dry bulk service. I haven't seen any Pitt-Ohio yet. They did buy some Volvo sleepers for that freight company out of Toledo that they own as well. I can't remember they name. They were all "balboa blue" I do remember that. The pinnacles are available with one piece or two piece windshields. I hate changing out that style windshield. I wish the old style center locking strip style were still in production. They are a zip to change out.
  7. Drove my b into work today and was told put it front and center of the new truck line up.
  8. My experience recently with an 8LL exhibiting the same is the main drive gear on the input shaft, that is undercut from the factory for easier shifting, is worn and needs replaced. It may also be the shift forks maybe worn from forcing it to stay in or out of gear. First I'd check the shift tower for damaged or worn springs and the mechanism for operation. If all good pull the covers or drop the trans and inspect gears. Here's a trouble shooting guide. http://www.eaton.com/ecm/idcplg%3FIdcService%3DGET_FILE%26dID%3D297001
  9. Not surprising at all. The Chinese are good at copying just not real innovative yet.
  10. Nice work! Looks real good thus far!
  11. Just going off of commentary from this site:http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/o/orrville/orrville.htm
  12. Mack has always worked with suppliers for their needs. The B model integral cabs, H model cabs, and G model cabs were produced in Orvillle, Oh for example.
  13. Yep 40496, same code for this '13 GU hood I shot yesterday as the 89 DM I posted earlier.... Keep up the good work the b is coming together!
  14. Yep I heard it was the fairing company in Canada that caught fire like ks stated, at the dealership I'm at we're waiting on some air dams and side fairings for new trucks.
  15. I think Pitt-Ohio is Imron P9001EB Seminole Red. It's the same as Tesone trucks too. I'll have to look at the next Pitt Ohio that comes in. I have the code for Exterior Mack Green. It's used Frank Bryan trucks. I just did a rear dm cab panel for them a couple months ago. I'll get it tom.
  16. In 2012, when I last visited Mexico (Playa Del Carmen), the safeness of majority of the trucks was very sub par. I saw numerous trucks that should have not only been red tagged here state side, but rather sitting in a junk yard. Granted not all were this bad, there were newer trucks, but the vast majority would definitely not comply.
  17. Injector cups are quite common on those as you mentioned.
  18. Looks good! You're right about keeping your fleet maintained well, the pictures show that!
  19. Happy birthday! I'm not that far behind; I'm about to leave my 20s in a couple days.
