  2. Previous owner of the '05 CV713 was killing clutches and switched to electric logic fan with no further issues.
  3. Hollywood's Best cold, manipulative, unscrupulous, AI character to date...………... Give me a reason they want to emulate a human, in appearance, other than to manipulate thought?
  4. Million mile engine, just get lots of cups and injectors on the shelf.
  5. General Tsu’s Chicken served daily at the Sea of Traquillity Bar and Wok? It’s not practical to keep humans in space for extended periods, but, I’d guess, when A.I. is perfected space property is going to be in high demand for military and natural resource. Put a solar panel on the little Creton’s forehead and he can open pit mine all day long on Mars without Labor Union representation. Think robots are going to get to do and see all the things humans dreamed about, so far as deep extended space travels.
  6. Hahahaaa... they are Tmuchs on the advertisement too.
  7. Never visualized the death toll of WW2 until recently reading that 1 in every 34 people on Earth died from the war. That’s without counting fatalities from disease, famine, etc caused by conflict. Unfathomable destruction, now days they measure homicide/accidental death/ in 4-8 per 10,000.
  8. A pastor and I previewed Ken Ham’s “answers in Genesis” and were convinced we needed some Vegemite. Rock, paper, scissors and I ended up mail ordering some. Definitely an acquired taste, beef bouillon with a hint of stale beer. Ham said you can’t convince an American kid to eat vegimite and even less an Australian kid to eat a pickle.....appears he was right after letting the kids taste it.
  9. Blessed holiday all, it’s run up to the resolution so put a dent in that pie!
  10. Officer finally draws his handgun after the knife dance session and shoots him once center mass...and Mohammad is in debt another 72 Virgins. Whatcha selling!?? Probably out of my price range and wife range.
  11. Not sure what operating procedure or willingness to risk an officers life is in Australia, but in the USA if a knife wielding car bomber comes running at a police officer, knife raised, the officer will go for the lead pills and skip the 30 second dodge-n-dance? Then again a brown banana has gotten a lot of people killed here.
  12. My dad died in July. Old farmer & trucker. Married 53 years. Mom says the quiet house at night is what gets to her. Maybe get that motor replaced and rev it up if it gets too quiet? If the kids don’t get you a Rev limiter for Christmas serve up some of those 7 month old fridge pick’in’s for them.
  13. Oddly enough.....Rock Auto also carries Mack Midliner parts dating back to 1980. Doubt they will have a scarce part though.
  14. If that’s the case my kids are in their 70’s. We basically keep the WiFi at 1966 and older. ‘66 was the end of Dick Van Dyke Show.
  15. Miss Kitty would never let it go in front of a judge, she’d splint it up and tie it with torn table cloths.
  16. Trying to decipher the sign..... “This ???????(wagon) is an antique and is very delicate, for your own safety please stay off”?
  17. Not according to many engineers. At this level we just say “sir, yes sir” and follow the established protocol. There are some interesting reads online explaining dynamics, they primarily do it on critical fasteners.
  18. Take a group of bolts to a low torque spec then turn each one a predetermined number of degrees of turn to get your load, instead of just torquing to a top spec. Like taking a 180 ft lb bolt to 50 ftlbs and then an additional 1/2 turn with a breaker bar to reach 180 instead of just using a torque wrench to full spec. If you stretch them (per manufacturer) its a torque to yield, you intentionally distort the bolt and have to replace them every time. Otherwise you can reuse them if not taken to the “stretched” dimension.
  19. Torque to yield instead of torque turn?
  20. Not sure why reaming was accepted procedure. Most often it was caused by people erupting the bushing by hammering in instead of pressing in gently. Even if you erupt.....put the pin completly in and slap it with a deadblow sideways, all directions, and the bushing will distort back to pin shape and pin will turn free. Don’t cut metal out of a new, soft metal, or nylon dressed, bushing.
  21. Might be an argument that torque turn is the product of better quality control in fastener manufacturing. Every bolt now has perfectly uniform tensile.
  22. Let your vendor spec your percentage, pump and PTO, His liability. After losing a bunch of transmissions to PTO failures we went to an 82 series Muncie. If you have a small window PTO you will need a plate. FYI- if you re-house the PTO output for direct mount put new bearings/seal in it, your transmission only lives as long as the PTO’s smallest, weakest, bearing. That’s why the 82 series became mandatory. You don’t need one that big though, we set up log booms with rail gear lifts. True story from three months ago. One of the older guys (60) at the shop was installing an 82 series and left it rest on his stomach while he swapped shim gaskets. Said he felt a sharp stab in his guts. Didn’t feel good. Went home and collapsed in the shower. Ma hauled him in. Tore his intestines open. They are not a PTO, should be listed as an auxiliary transmission.
  23. What fjh said and they can also sell a cool digital angle meter to you also. Anyone remember Mack E-tech flywheels, rod or main brgs coming loose in the abscence of torque-turn specs? I don’t.
  24. Torque to 44 ftlbs. In X-cross pattern. angle tighten 120 degrees in X-pattern.
  25. Two weeks ago got a Liehberr injector for <25% the cost of OEM, new, no core, from K&S.
