  1. around 7-8 years ago, the NEMF trucks were getting real ratty, because the drivers knew their days were numbered and just did not care about the trucks or company anymore.
  2. VIN shown is 76 F600
  3. my bet is at one time in it's life it wore a snow plow out front and the doors were cut in the hood because it would not flip open with the plow on to check oil or other fluids.
  4. if i remember correctly the 150 and 170 HP engines were "H" models we had a 190 HP in the old 60's dodge grain truck when i was on the farm. my friend still has it, but only uses it on site and does not take it out on the road anymore.
  5. as said, those are synflex connectors and push in to remove the air line. you will need to spray penetrating oil in the fittings to loosen up the crud that has built up over time. then possibly blow out with compressed air to get it out of the fitting before trying to remove the line.
  6. simple solution to this. edit the post to delete that picture, with a note: "picture deleted after 6 years because it just offended a snowflake"
  7. good call, i missed the two port master cylinder.
  8. that booster under the truck is for the brakes, not clutch. that truck will have a regular mechanical clutch. another option for ignition is a pertronix points replacement unit. simple, and 10 minute to install.
  9. AOC and her pack of rabid blankity blanks can leave even if it don't offend them!!!
  10. you don't all you can hope for is they believe you. which i really don't think they will, since ULSD has more lubrication than the old high sulfur ever did.
  11. no cab access. once you are in it, you are there until you die and get buried with it.
  12. from my understanding talking with new york city firefighters the open cab design was not for ladder swing, but rather for visibility in spotting the truck at fire scenes for best ladder use.
  13. good luck and congratulations!. it sounds big now, but once you get everything in it it will be way too small.
  14. i am thinking the hood was grafted to the bus.
  15. dielectric grease
  16. the democratic party should adopt MAPA their slogan in their run against President Trump. i mean really, nothing else they have tried the past 3 1/2 years has been effective.
  17. first pic, is that a tank for an on site water truck?
  18. yea, site work you can get away with a 5 speed. buy if you try hitting the road you need a 13 minimum or better an 18 for the hills. nothing worse than catching a red light on the bottom of a hill and trying to get 80k moving up it and end up taking a mile to hit 35 mph.
  19. that truck is just as purrty going down the road as it is at shows. they keep it in tip top shape . and the low boy it drags around looks brand new too. i actually saw it going into the caterpillar dealer today around 10:45 am
  20. triaxle needs an 18 speed.
  21. not the iron duke, that was the chevy 153 4 cylinder. it was replaced with the AMC 4.o six cylinder starting in the early 70's when AMC took over jeep brand. same with your cousins chevy II, it had a chevy 153 4 cylinder, not an "iron duke"
  22. iron duke was a 4 cylinder iron block from the late 70's early 80's for pontiac. sorta like the chevy 153 used in the chevy II/nova in the 60's
  23. someone who is not here legally. ya know, no citizenship, no green card, no work papers.
  24. fuzzy grainy cell phone pics, and no truck description besides cummins engine. either he is a scammer, and the truck is a real turd, or he is just clueless on how to sell something
  25. now that is just mean. a real nice farmer would have switched from growing taters to raising hogs...............or chickens.
