because the politicians sell out to the highest bidder. i said it many times before, and i will say it again. we need to fire ALL Politicians, and replace them with no political America first types........with term limits.

Paul, commifornia has extremely strict emissions regulations. if a vehicle is older than the regulations or does not meet them, it must be updated first to pass those emissions regulations before you can register it or work it there.

monday morning diesel was up to $5.80 a gallon in central Joisey. oil companies are raping us, knowing we will either have to pay their price, or sit home. i bet if all truck drivers sat home for a month or two and no diesel got sold the price would go down REAL FAST.

the fuel truck driver did that to a brand new 299 cat skid steer with 6 hours on it. his excuse was that is where i always fuel the machines. needless to say, that was the last time we got fuel from that company.

Many years ago I had an injector line leaking. While replacing it, I noticed the turbo was leaking oil and a bearing was loose. So I changed the line and was going to order a turbo the next day. Anyhow, #5 injector died. Since there no 237 injectors in the shop I put a set of 300 injectors in and 300+ 5 inch turbo replaced the 4 inch of the 237. We had to turn the injector pump up quite a bit to make it run properly, but I could keep rite there with newer 400 hp truck with 8ll Transmissions. The only time I would loose ground was on long hills.

i used to roll between 174-220,000 pounds with a 237 and mud stick DM 800 rolling 14-24 rubber on both truck and trailer. the truck and trailer alone were 87k and change, then add the D8K with full tank of fuel and a 14 foot "U" blade, and i was rolling rite shy of the 220K i was legal for with the "S" tags on the trailer. i was also 13' 11" on the blade, 1 inch off my 14 foot wide permits. when i had the D8's or 235 excavator on the trailer i never went over 25 MPH. it;s kinda hard stopping that much weight.

we have an 18 speed in the 2000 Kenworth W900. i only split the low side of trans once, just to show someone how it was done.

me thinks you are going to love the 300+ with the 13 speed. nice thing is you can also skip gears when running empty or light
