we went from 84 wednesday afternoon to 32 this morning.

i remember back when we were only allowed 45 mph empty and 25 loaded with dumptrucks. most i ever put on in one day way 800 miles. but that was in a F550 masondump. i only ran log book for less 3 weeks. one trip to floriduh and back, and one trip to commifornia. on the way out of commifornia, the other driver said watch this and popped the shifter into neutral coming down the rockies towards reno. hit close to 120mph in a loaded trailer. we stopped for fuel in reno. i got out, called a taxi, and went to the airport and flew home.

but at least you were honest!!

he hauled the subs they use in the storm water drainage tunnels under vegas.😁

off the top of my head, i ccan only think of 2 or 3 members with TDS that would post in an "orange man bad" thread.

20 years............your just a trainee!!🤣 56 years here..with the first 6 in gas powered trucks. cant tell you total miles, but i am at least at 2 million. i tried figuring it out a few years bak but could not remember all the different trucks i drove, most got at least 100,000 miles before being replaced with newer ones.

and i noticed that too. but you still added the "T" word to the post. 😁

we never bothered replacing SPS in trucks when they went bad, just converted the truck to 12 volt.

not to worry, i have REALLY BIG shoulders and am used to people walking all over me.

it aint al that bad Bob, i used to eat horrible for you foods, now i am eating healthy stuff.

much much betterrer. i was 170 pounds leaving the hospital, the 3 weeks of stress and worry really did a number on me. i also realized i had warning signs before the "stay" that i did not see... lack of appitite and a weight loss of 15 pounds being the two largest during january. i am back up to 190 pounds this am. and my appitite has returned, though my taste buds seem to be off kilter. foods and drinks i used to love now taste like crap. the bright side though is i am eating much healthier. i am still weak, but every day brings slight improvements. i am now walking close to 3/4 mile weather permitting before getting sore.. three weeks ago i was lucky to get 30 feet before "running out of gas". i am being extra cautious though, as i am still concidered a fall risk as my balance is off a bit. the dumb mutt no longer avoides me either. i guess she smelled i was sick and wanted nothing to do with me.

around 35 years ago we were building a bridge across a deep ravine. had to move 8 55 foot long telephone poles 12 miles, but only had a 30 foot deck pintle hitch trailer. loaded them up chained them down, and took off down the highway with 2 blocker trucks up front, and three in rear.. got 2 miles from the farm and get stopped by a local cop at a major intersection for oversize, dangerous load, blocking traffic, yada yada yada. as the cop was calling a heavy wrecker to tow the rig and smaller ones to tow my escort trucks before wrting tickets, the police chief pulled on scene and started ripping the cop a new one. apparently he was not paying attention during the pre patrol meeting when the chief told everyone there would be an oversize load coming through town delivering to his farm.

just remember, we are all someone's children........

TDS is a very serious disease for many people. Trump could cure cancer, the the people with TDS would claim he is denying the grim reaper his rite to take people...

i remember reading about a few quad turbo E9 V8's made for tank use by france, but dont know if they were ever shipped/used.
