  1. Fords largest truck currently is the F750
  2. yup, like me when i went from a Mack to a Kenworth as a daily driver. i could tell you almost anything you wanted to know about a Mack. but a Kenworth? all i knew is it was an over the road truck.
  3. yup. they figured it was at least 100 years old, because that section was a farmstead before becoming part of the county park system, and the building only got power and inside plumbing when gifted to the park in the early 70's. the building was timber frame, and built in the early 1800's. we were converting it to a historic display of life in the 1800's, and the bathroom was hidden in a small addition the original kitchen still had the well pump under the sink cabinet. and still worked.
  4. Bob, many years ago a friend had a 66 Dm 800 on a b81 frame. With a V8 and allison automatic trans. That truck was a real bastage getting parts for
  5. 73 was the change over year. i have seen early made 73's with steel "round" dash, and later builds with the plastic dash. by 74 all macks i have ever seen had plastic dash.
  6. nope, was good on smokes Bob................but i was running short on water by the time they got me out, the last bottle was almost empty.
  7. i was not sure if Mack made a 13 speed Dave, that is why i did not include it in my list.
  8. around 40 years ago i was digging a new septic tank in a county park. 30 foot away from the states largest poplar tree, which was also protected under state order as a landmark. i pulled a bucket of dirt out of the ground and saw a liquid dripping from the bucket about the same time the county inspector screamed bloody murder and everyone started running. needless to say i was not really paying attention until the second bucket came out of the ground. i had dug directly into a 12 foot diameter yellow jackets nest, and boy were they pissed!!! luckily both the 235 excavator i was in and the ford F8000 single axle dump truck the driver was in both had AC so we did not get attacked/stung. he took off with the truck and dumped, then left the park for 1/2 hour to get away from the yellow jackets. i was stuck in the machine for 3 hours until they could get an exterminator there to smoke them out so i could get out of the machine. for about 45 minutes the bees were so thick on the machines windows i could not see out of them. and even after that they were so thick around the machine and hole there was no way i was getting out. three days later they got rid of all the bees and nest so we could finish digging the tank pit.
  9. well that i know of, 5 speed, 6 speed, 7 speed, 9 speed, 10 speed, 12 speed, 15 speed, 18 speed, and 20 speed.
  10. there was plenty of sources on the internet last year when the sham trial was going on with the source of the payment backtracking to the DNC and soros.
  11. you post picture of me from last year, and i swear i will give you a "vacation"!!!
  12. you know, air conditioning would make the big green truck that runs now much more pleasurable to drive...
  13. it is not an incredulous accusation. the district attorney flat out said HE WILL BE FOUND GUILTY a month before the trial date was set. and the judge and his daughter were paid 5 million dollars to make sure he was found guilty.
  14. the jury was "convinced beyond a reasonable doubt" before the trial even started. they were selected and paid off to ensure all charges were found guilty
  15. you mean the fake charges for crimes never committed?
  16. Simply put, tariffs against a country should be the same as the tariffs they impose against us
  17. And the crooked ones were hung in the town square.
  18. nope, serious. i know the two one the left are the ones that got caught cheating at a concert because that picture have been posted all over the internet for the past week. i do not watch news or TV.
  19. who is the one on the right?
  20. not jb, but we used to use the epoxy stick bade for fuel leaks. dont remember who made it, but i want to say 3M
  21. on a similar note.... after driving DM and u models for close to 18 years, i was given a brandy spanken new R model. first time i approached a toll booth i slowed down to almost a stop swearing i was going to hit the booth as i was no longer sitting on the side of the truck. i caught crap for that for a few hours until an old timer took me on the side and said dont worry about it, i did the same thing with my first r model too.
  22. she is such a good girl giving that poor wabbit mouth to mouth!!!!
  23. actually being a former Boston truck, i am surprised it did not already have a heater in it already. even though it i a roofless truck, it still has windows in the doors. they used canvas tops on them in the winter like army trucks had. and it gets awful cold in Boston during the winter. even thought it is only a canvas top, the heater helps keep the inside of the cab semi warm instead of freezing.
  24. Bob, you are in your own little world... none of us know exactly where it is, but we know you are there 🤪
  25. we had the same damaged block issue 4 years ago with a brand new Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel long block. shipper tried to say we dropped it, but in large letters on delivery receipt was shipping crate damaged, looks like it was dropped. it still took them three months to ship out another because they swore we dropped it. luckily it was during winter when the roller went down, so we did not have to rent one to replace it.
