  1. E9 was a little over 100 cubic inches bigger than a 3406E. Those radiators didn't have much trouble cooling one of those off under most circumstances.
  2. Not to offend anyone, but poor mileage for no reason easily detected usually turns out to be a leak somewhere in the intake. Maybe it's time to recheck all the simple things again ? Easy to get frustrated and miss something some times......we've all done it.
  3. That White was a handsome truck.
  4. and here I thought I was the only one thinking of that movie 😂
  5. I bet a guy named Larry on here is looking real close at that exhaust on that truck with lust in his eye 👀
  6. I think the pump is too (JUNK) Jojo. Gear looks like it never had an oil change .
  7. That grader would be great yard art for an excavating company too
  8. Don't they have those dowels that look like they're pinched on the end.
  9. No. I'm not good at that stuff and I didn't see the regular link on the posting. There's a picture of an old White 4000 . I saw it on Craigslist (Heavy Equipment Scranton) It's something to do with joseph's though.
  10. Nevermind getting in , try driving it with @ 180 horse, two sticks, no power steering or AC.
  11. There's a posting on Craigslist with a picture of an old White . It's one of that Joseph's in Manchester New Hampshire and there's some interesting old Macks in there. I'm not real familiar with the older ones, but there's something with an L cab and it looks pretty solid (maybe some B with an L cab ?? )
  12. Always a good idea to indicate a bell housing that's new to an engine.
  13. Looks pretty good 😍
  14. Your little gas charged cylinder is shot.
  15. It is very sad. The discussion could go on for days about just how sad. We have leaders who are for sale, and " that " they should be held accountable for . From the top down.
  16. You really believe Russia isn't selling oil anywhere ? It's no wonder you defend biden
  17. Helps to jack the truck up by the trunnion bar when greasing it. and grease it with it on the ground too. Even if a guy cheats by just putting the lift axle down when the truck is empty, helps get grease around it. That way after all the troubles of greasing it, then it can just rot away instead of being worn 😃
  18. You need to charge more. Not too many businesses quote anything much over a week anymore. Customers are used to it at this point. Truck mechanics are in high demand..... don't short yourself
  19. You make some good points, but not one changes the fact we have weak leadership. Anyone who wants to get away with anything is well aware now is the time. Our president and all the administration is either for sale or too apathetic to be concerned with the lower class (everyone else who isn't them) to do anything about it other than write a book or get huge speaking fees. So in my opinion ? "nothing to do with it" ?? don't kid yourself
  20. Both facing inwards no less..... not easy finding those any more .
  21. Truck looks great. I'd bet most would be surprised to learn it's a gas job. Beautiful day for a ride too. Hope you enjoy it 50000 times as much as I've enjoyed watching the progress.
  22. The oil companies are like the proverbial woman scorned. They're just letting everyone know who's in charge. What kind of idiot (s) kick the legs right out from under a country trying to get back up to speed after being shut down ? Oil companies know these morons are to much of a bunch of assholes to stop them from having their way with prices. and yes.......FJB
  23. I bet pete buttigieg knows how much fuel costs... and he's probably addressing the issue right now.
  24. IDK ??? not looking too promising for repairing the way it is in this day and age. Not really a lot of easy options to make a repair in this case. Exhaust is really hard to contain especially that close to the heat. I think if I was gonna try muffler in a can (or tube) I'd see about a flat lap clamp about the size to wrap around the part with the pyrometer and fill the whole thing in and leave it like a cast. Or ? what if you had a shim cut to go in one side so the rings aren't ending up in the same spot ?
  25. Maybe you could upgrade to a newer turbo with a regular V band ?
