  1. If I blow this up too much, it gets blurry. Makes it hard to see the tougher ones to notice.
  2. Or maybe it's a Louisville 🤔
  3. Looks like the R Model door says Swishy in one and nothing in one.
  4. That coupe at the 2.22 .... holy cow, what a hot rod that would make.
  5. This bus had me curious. I Googled Crown Coach. Turns out the one in the picture is a "Supercoach" and interestingly enough ..... the founder of the company was a fella by the name of Brockway. Says some of those Supercoaches could move almost 100 kids. Once again OD posts an attention getting picture.
  6. Maybe that's something new, I hear there's issues with child obesity (or one of those compartments could be a litterbox) . Whatever it is , looks like it's in good shape.
  7. Swish ???? I don't know if you posted this before or not, but for those of us who missed it..... we need a little story on this one. "MACKWORTH" ??? please do tell ????
  8. That picture , he really looks like his low life kid Hunter. 😳

Input shaft and front cover are common things to replace, and are pretty easy. Eaton has that clutch kit comes in a thing like a brief case with all that in there. A reman 8LL gotta be around $6500.00 now I'd guess.

That bearing cover you mentioned ? The one where the brake is squeezed against ?? take a 7/16 bottoming tap and thread two adjacent holes, screw a couple bolts in as jack screws and it comes right off. no damage to the 3/8s threads on the case and no removing the housing .
  11. Sounds like a Hendrickson AL The weight rating is determined mostly by the Z spring in them. Pretty good air ride, but that Neway I'm thinking of us what the guys use for weight
  12. I'd be looking for a big NeWay . The big one with the adaptors for the housings like in a camelback and the big giant nuts on the back of the trailing arms where the cross brace is. (I'm sure there's a name for this) Pretty robust suspension .
  13. If anyone ever saw that movie Better Off Dead, this broad is pretty close to Ricky's Mom when she had the dinner for the for the French foreign exchange student .
  14. After reading this over and over (and factoring in it sat around for a period of time) makes me think it has something in the governor sticking. Not the ideal thing to ignore. Watch that video with that guy that hates the Detroits . Might need it's injection pump looked at by a reputable pump shop.
  15. The back of it sorta looks like a great grandfather to a '63 Vette. That Dodge with the welder looks like it's not far from driveable, let alone in fantastic shape overall.
  16. He had a song years ago. It was Froofie or roofie the dog or something like that. Who knew it was inspired by starting fluid. On a serious note, sounds like this dude's truck for some reason has no fuel pressure without some RPMs
  17. I think there was a special ether called Roofy brand he used. Must have been one of those old ones that you could seat a bead with .
  18. Wasn't there some legal issues with Cosby in someone's can ?
  19. I was think'n '30s I believe stuff like that was in the Art Deco period . It reminds me of some of those tankers and beer trucks from back then.
  20. There's not too much in those pictures that doesn't have potential. All very interesting stuff......even that thing that looks like a torpedo or something that I have no idea what it is.
  21. Ether is a tricky thing. if metered in properly it can be a cold weather starting aid. Just sprayed in recklessly ??? the engine can easily be running out of time and to uncontrolable RPMs if anywhere in the intake is loaded up with it. So yeah, it can get out of hand if not used sparingly . Some old Cummins engines, when they became worn and hard starting in lower temperatures it would seem as if they wouldn't start without it (addicted) most likely the engine was a combination of worn out and cold. Most guys would sooner forget about how things were years back compared to starting diesels now.
  22. That's pretty good thinking on that girl's part. Keeping those life preservers so close to the lake. No wonder someone took her picture.
  23. This is gonna require some pictures .
