  1. Oldspwr did a Brockway, and luckily for the rest of us he documented it from the start. Same as you. You guys did a outstanding job on your trucks. I think I speak for many on these sites, we greatly appreciate all your efforts keeping us informed with progress let alone just enjoying reading and seeing the trucks . ( most of us are a little envious of your abilities ) Think it's safe to say there's guys inspired by having read and followed these builds.
  2. I wonder if Matt gets the full effect of this post coming from you (lol) ? Truck looks fantastic.

Holy f$#@. Better be careful to not get an infection. I've had way smaller burns like that ( way smaller ) and they take a while to get over. Have you seen a doctor ?
  4. Likely a 4 speed too.
  5. Joey, you should move up to this area. Probably wouldn't have much trouble finding a job close to $30.00/hour and we won't light you on fire or nothing like that.
  6. That monkeypox doesn't stand a chance
  7. Demetre the bone smuggler
  8. I think newer Mack carriers have an option for lockers similar to Meritors or Eatons. I know I saw a tractor with an air line going into the carrier on a new truck a couple years back. They had some other number too , wasn't 92/93
  9. That Galaxy is pretty nice. Wonder what engine is in it. Likely some form of FE, but you never know now a days
  10. That's some extreme truck'n. Not to sound stupid, but I'm guessing there's a reason for the high air intakes other than they come in handy for something like in the video. Thanks for posting.
  11. Too bad there isn't some way to fill something like a feed bag or something with sand to put underneath and form into the shape of the hoods to help hold them while you sand.

Drive'n any Mack is always cool 😎
  13. You'd have too look a long time to see or read anything about the airlift of baby formula here. It wouldn't be allowed to be made public knowledge. It's odd at this time to think as one more link to the time of The Greatest Generation passes how far we are from it....and how it was only one's lifetime. Our Founders said if anything happened here it would come from within, but they don't teach stuff like that in school here anymore. Kinda puts things in perspective that in response to a "pandemic" ? collectively our biggest accomplishment was to instantly create a shortage of toilet paper.......literally swerl'n in the bowl.
  14. Looks like someone added the bumper and some aluminum wheels since the video.
  15. That's not gonna work. There was an add at Joseph Equipment in Manchester NH a while back. They seemed to have 24" tires for sale. 24 inch is sorta all by itself.
  16. We don't see much of that here (if any) We have flooding, but in general it's usually not as far spread out. Looks like being a truck driver there is a demanding job.
  17. A switch that'll work there may not look identical to yours'. Like Brocky said , correct pipe thread size and a replacement shouldn't be too difficult to find. It'll have two posts for wires but may have a little bit different shape.
  18. I see. We don't get floods like that here in the area I live. Usually by the rivers if any.
  19. I was wondering about how it ended up in that much water (flood ??) looks like at some point the water was even higher.
  20. What's going on in that picture ? Looks like that could be a expensive dry out
  21. That Overnite video is pretty slick. Never actually saw how that was done. How about the detail job on that Volvo ??
  22. I don't know how they arrived at the nomenclature ( how about that big word ?? ) I have no idea if it was somehow related to CGVW or what. But there were twin screws and single axles or trucks with tags and they were badged as some form of 60 series. Now in 2022, the tag axle is making a come back. Between anti lock brakes and "smart suspensions" and traction control , it's not too hard to see tractors using them.
  23. IDK Larry, lots of those single axle tractors pulled tandem trailers. Not sure how they arrived at the numbers. I do remember some of those single axle ones with a dump trailer and they carried in excess of a twenty ton payload.
  24. The Bs were weight rated by their numerical ID I E B 61 was rated for 60.000 pounds (the 6) and it would be a diesel (odd numbers were diesel the 1 ) so a B42 would have been rated for 40,000 pounds and had a gas engine
