  1. We can't break his fingers, he has to do that every time he drives The General, so that's not gonna work..................
  2. Uh huh. As if you needed to be associated with us. What else you got?
  3. Serious question: If anyone with a drop deck or a flat with ramps and the room, that is passing Hellertown Pa (Bethlehem) on I-78 would you be willing to pick up the FWD if I sprang for a meal or two for you and some fuel????
  4. I have a 2009 Kia Sedona van....union made in West Point, Georgia.
  5. Vinny is getting sooo big.....(sniff) don't they just grow up so fast????
  6. That's ok Mate, we know that because you are upside down on the bottom of the world, all the blood rushing into your head clouds your judgement.
  7. A green leaker in a Superdog....... It is un-holy. It is possessed. It is the Anti-Christ.
  8. Other dog.....put down the bottle and slowly back away from the computer keyboard.....
  9. "It's an Armenian message.........It means other dog sleeps with the fishes."

  11. I had nothing to do with this........I drove past this thing couple of times the past 2 weeks, it's like a horrifying train wreck, you can't NOT look.....So I stopped and took pics........No this isnt an Otherdog Photochoppage......
  12. A gentleman never tells.........
  13. SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE.......... It's a great fucking feeling when your belly doesn't rub the steering wheel anymore, aint it??? When driving the FWD, I could never wear any light-colored shirts before I lost weight- there would be a dark mark from the wheel. Well done my friend!!! Keep going and get in the gym, dammit!!!!
  14. If anyone is interested in buying any of his books, I can probably arrange to get them for you directly through him, I am pretty sure he gets them for cost. I can also get him to autograph them for you. Let me speak to him and see what he says; I am certain he would do it if he is able to get them.
  15. No way..... That is clearly an 867-5309
  16. https://www.flickr.com/photos/127466102@N06/sets/72157648134563882/ Here's the link to the album for Trucktoberfest 2014 in my (new) flickr account. I can't access the old account under the name yardo1075 for some reason- but there are still a ton of truck pix in there if you want to look there too.
  17. I would have blown his doors off going over the mountain if I had the running start.......But he was in front of me on the on-ramp onto 78 from Lehigh Street and not as much "get up and go" with the two on his deck.....I was stuck behind him and could not merge left for quite a while due to traffic.......So I didn't have quite the "ooomph" going over the mountain and we were side by side smiling at each other for 1/4 mile pissing everyone off behind us.
  18. Did anyone happen to catch the FWD versus the R-Model (with a lowboy and two B's on the deck) race up south mountain on I-78 Eastbound??? It was a draw.....LOL
  19. 6 or 8 years ago, I bought 2 books about FWD Brand trucks authored by a gentleman by the name of Robert Gabrick. I enjoyed them so much that I sent an email to the publisher, explaining that I really enjoyed the books and to please relay to the Author that if he were to ever find himself in the Philadelphia area to please look me up as I would enjoy buying him lunch. 2 weeks later he called me, and we spent an hour plus on the phone. Since then, he has become close friends with both myself and my father. Bob calls Somerset, Wisconsin home but he spends a tremendous amount of time in the Philadelphia area; and therefore the three of us occasionally find ourselves getting into mischief together. Bob recently completed his thirteenth book about trucks "An Illustrated history of the American Delivery Truck." He spent several years, and traveled extensively across the United States to research the collections of several museums and archives to find the material to write this book. Hundreds of hours and thousands of miles. So imagine my humbleness when Bob told me a few weeks ago that book #13 was dedicated to my father Sam Yardumian and myself. Words could not relay the feeling of the lump in my throat when he told me on the phone. The intention was to annouce this at the Friends of Autocar meeting last weekend, but Dad and I had to cancel at the last minute to attend a funeral. So Bob whipped them out today when we saw him at Trucktoberfest, and Dad was speechless for one of the few times in his life. You know you love a hobby when a guy dedicates something he worked on for a whole boatload of time to you and your father.
  20. I took about 100-200 pictures, of damn near every truck there. I will upload into my flickr account and then post a link in here, but it's gonna have to wait a couple of days. Extra Small's baptism is tomorrow.
  21. Admit nothing. Deny everything. Demand proof. (besides, she told me she was 18......)
  22. Check out youtube for some good videos on operating two-stick trannies.
  23. A jar? That's all? Shouldn't it be more like a 55 gallon drum? (or two?)
  24. Ok, if I did this right: -Denny + 1 -Maddog + 1 -Ken + 1 -Ron + 1 Countryboy + 1 Leon and Rene Me = 13 total. The reservation has been made for the Fogelsville Inn/Hotel for Friday Night Sept 26, 2014 at 7:00pm EST, under the name "Abe Froman, the Sausage King of Chicago." I will plan on getting there around 6:30. If anyone needs a ride or wants to join in but you didn't respond here, call me on my cell phone and I will call them and add you into the count. My cell is 484-239-4435. Just kidding. They are under the name "Peterbilts Suck." Just kidding again. Made under the name "Randy." For real this time.
