  2. You just have to know where to look.......They're all over Winfall!!!!!!!!
  3. I would have to concur. Unless if the thing is as clean as the day it came off the factory floor and showroom ready, and all of those Mack components are freshly rebuilt with documentation to back them up. It still makes me horny though.
  4. Hatcity already took one!
  5. My 1958 Model F-725 750/500 sold for $19,975
  6. That doesnt make me a bad guy!
  7. You thought this was a Winfall Wimmin post, didn't you??? Sent to me by a friend. The thought alone makes me want to touch myself like Hatcity's Vinny Video.....
  8. They misspelled "Snap-On" on that hammer.
  9. Brockway......Isn't that a Mack with lock washers?
  10. OD if I come to your house and trick or treat I'mma coming for steak or piggy on your grill. Maybe some hot sauce, too.

  13. My neighborhood really lives it up for Halloween. It's a very festive event here. All of the adults drag the lawn chairs out to the sidewalks or sit on the front steps of the house, and hand out candy to the goblins. Some gather on their frontyards and light up the grills and cook burgers, dogs or whatever in what is usually the last cookout of the year for them (my grill gets used year round, even in the falling snow...lol) The wife and I walked Large, Medium, Small and Extra Small around for their candy but we played a game- I filled a flask with some of Mother Russia's finest, and every time we saw an "Elsa" (the ice princess from Disney's newest movie Frozen) you had to take a nip. Flask was empty in 45 minutes and wife was walking sideways. A neighbor's yard all decorated up Another neighbor who treats kids to a book of their choice instead of candy SWMBO with Extra Small in a snuggli carrier
  14. Capt406, give me a list of what you need to replace what was stolen (nozzles, fittings, adapters, appliances, ladders etc.....) and I will see what I can do to help you out. Have you contacted local scrap yards to tell them to keep an eye out for Fire Department equipment and ladders? Are you on facebook?
  15. I say yes. I understand the frustration of being outbid- but that can happen whether it gets posted on here or other internet savvy folks out there locate your find and decide they want it more than you do. Thats the world that we now live in. I for one enjoy seeing the finds that are posted on here. Many are also posted on facebook in various truck-related groups.
  16. I have .73 and some lint in my pocket..........
  17. Oh cry me a river......Try the FWD with the 7-mile long hood, no power steering and a powered steer axle........I keep a tube of Ben-Gay in the glove box for my arms......LOL
  18. I like the Century-Series American Lafrance firetruck. Even if it is powered by the Devil. Thats ok an E9 300 would drop down in there very nicely.
  19. OUTSTANDING!!!!! Love me some Hayward trucks!!!!!
  20. Wait.....First gearhead....and now YOU? I might be being a bit paranoid here but I think this could be a conspeeracy!!! Hatcity pass the Reynolds please......... And "glopped"- is that a technical term?
  21. The Summersville Goat AND a chrome stack on a grill........Now I've seen everything and can die a content person.
  22. Well after what happened at Macungie this year my wife says I'm not allowed to hang out with you anymore anyways........Something about a "bad influence" or something like that????
  23. About 5 miles from Exit 44 (Quakertown/663) of I-476 (The Northeast Extension of the Pa Tpk.)
  24. There is a 99.99% chance that both the wheel cylinders and the master cylinders are NOT OEM Mack parts- that they are most likely Borg Warner, Bendix or Wagner. Take the cylinders and the master cylinder to an old-school NAPA parts counter- NOT one of these new fangled chain stores, The older the school NAPA place, the better, and the older the guy behind the counter, the better. Drop them on the counter and say "I need rebuild kits for these or new units." Here is the key: DO NOT TELL HIM WHAT IT IS OFF OF. MAKE NO MENTION OF A C-MODEL MACK. THAT WILL ONLY CONFUSE THINGS. Again: old-school NAPA (or another place....old school!!!) drop parts on counter- "get me these." If you walk in and it's a young kid, ask for an older guy. If there is no old guy, and the kid goes to the computer first, turn around and walk out, go somewhere else. (My 1958 FWD Firetruck has a 1957 Ford master cylinder for the clutch slave cylinder. There are both rebuild kits with stainless steel parts and new units available through Wagner.)
  25. May not necessarily a Mack part.....Could be Horton or any of a number of other Mfr's.......
