  1. I installed an Airtex model number E8012S which feeds the 554 CID Wauky adequately. We did calculations and it was suitable for an 817 Wauky, so I assume it should be ok for a 707.
  2. Personally, you have gone this far. What's a little more dissassembly going to do to the schedule or budget? I dont know if splitting them will make it easier to remove from the chassis, but personally if I were in your shoes I would split them just for the sake of making a good visual inspection of the flywheel and clutch.
  3. No no no if you're gonna set me up, use my right address.....I can be found here most anytime: 8330 State Road Philadelphia, Pa. 19136 Google it, you'll figure it out.
  4. I just spit iced tea all over the screen laughing
  5. Mmmmmmmm bistits....I like those.....
  6. I can neither confirm or deny that today is Ray's bday.......... OD can you please contact the Winfall Birthday Crew and have them post an appropriate photo of their bday celebration for Ray?????
  7. Add Wilmington, Delaware to the wheel falling off list, last week. There is nothing wrong with Piece fire apparatus. This is all your imagination. Move along, nothing to see here. The Men In Black from Appleton will be along shortly to neuralize you. Those who are in the Fire Service and do not drink the Appleton Flavored Kool Aid will laugh at this. Those that drink the Kool Aid will immediately brand me as a bastardous prick, place a contract on my life, and will accuse the departments of having lack of proper and adequate preventive maintenance.
  8. Looks AWESOME!!! And I dont trust a guy with a clean shop....LOL
  9. Now $19.00 for a car to cross the guinea gangplank.......WTF am I supposed to do now to get good fresh mozz and prosciutto?
  10. Mike's daughter Ashley was having a little fun with him earlier tonight and some of us may or may not have been egging her on to put some makeup on him or paint his face with a sharpie or something like that.......Anyways I was just about dared to put this onto BMT so in the spirit of a christmas time triple dog dare, here it is......
  11. Sorry. I have to go against the anti-freeze folks here. I don't know of anyone who has ever taken that route that didn't have bad luck, whether it be all the AF leaking out over time and all over the floor, or the AF not being distributed properly and drain valves freezing up and breaks due to expansion. I am all for total draining and evacuation by air pressure. Upon the impending freezing weather, I open every valve that exists on the truck, and remove all the caps. Let it drain down while driving it around for a few miles to "slosh" everything out. (Remembering that if there is residual water in the tank it has room for expansion and therefore is not as critical.) When I get back to the barn, I close everything back up. I have a 2.5" discharge cap that I drilled out and tapped with the proper threads to receive a male air coupling. I put it on a discharge, and pressurize the pump with 5-10psi of air. Now open each and every valve and drain one at a time and let the air push everything out. Repeat for several cycles. | When you are done, open every valve back up and leave them open, juuuuuuuust in case if there does happen to be any more residual water in there, the valves wont trap it and create expansion breaks. I have never had any issues using this method.
  12. For my fleet of fire trucks (always high hours/low miles) we change engine oil when the oil analysis says so, roughly once every 14-16 months. Fire pump transfer case, transmissions and rear is less often. Analysis kits are purchased from Giles & Ransome Cat in Bensalem, Pa. We buy 6-packs of kits but if I remember correctly, you can get a single for $18.95 or something like that. This includes shipping the kit to you, a prepaid mailer to send the sample back to them, the sample bottle with an overpack bottle, the flexible tubing to draw a sample (if you don't have a petcock) and the cost of the analysis. Follow the instructions carefully, fill out the paperwork, send it back to them and in 7 days (or less) you will have a complete report sent via email.
  13. SWMBO is the one on the left in the purple, you perverts.
  14. Wow....Adding Hendrickson to the list of Mfr's that used the R-Model Poospreader cab. And is that a 530A firetruck in the background???
  15. Is it wrong that I want to make love to that truck?
  16. I always knew about the Edgecomb Steel stainless A-Cars but never knew about these.
  17. You are wrong about the wisdom teeth not helping......Because there is no wisdom in going anywhere near Buffalo right now......
  18. If any of the pickup truck manufacturer's want my attention they need to come out with a Ranger size or 1500 size diesel that is AFFORDABLE and fuel efficient. Not the ones that now cost $40,000+ and only get 20mpg..........
  19. I wonder if that's one of Gilbertsville, Pa (Montgomery County) twin tanker tractors????
  20. Some of you have seen this before. This is an actual bonafide picture of SWMBO and two of her friends. Not downloaded from the interwebz or taken in Winfall. I get to fall asleep with one of these three sets every night.
  21. Vlad- I was able to watch the video but something is really wrong with that person's keyboard- the writing is all scribbly and screwy looking. You might want to send them an email and tell them to get their keyboard looked at.
  22. Walk into another NAPA store, the older the better, including the guy behind the counter. Drop them down on the counter and just say "I need four of these or the rebuild kits." That's all you have to say. DO NOT SAY WHAT THEY ARE OFF OF. That will only confuse things. Let them find it via the Wagner casting number.
  23. An original Mack bell..........You might have better luck finding a UFO or the Loch Ness Monster.
  24. No CB. And the only scanner is whichever scanner app I run on the smartphone- you wouldn't understand what that is.
