  1. Keep posting those updates.
  2. So after thanksgiving I always take the turkey carcass and boil it down for a few hours, then strain it and save the stock to make home made turkey pot pies or turkey soups, etc. Decided to try something- took all the scraps and the ribs from the prime rib, and boiled those down for a few hours. Strained them and saved the stock. Right now, as I type this, the stock is in the crock pot with a few pounds of stew meat. Gonna toss in some potatoes, carrots, onions, celery and drop biscuits later on today. The house smells so good I wanna eat the walls.
  3. oh yeah I forgot to mention water and sewer lines, they have to be as deep, if not deeper than the frost line or else they will freeze too. The more north you are, the colder it gets (duh) and the deeper that the frost line has to be.
  4. That firetruck is a Crosley, special made for an industrial brigade, I wanna say for a General Electric plant somewhere??? There was an article on it in one of the antique firetruck rags that I get.
  5. The farther north you get in the continental United States, the deeper you are required to place your concrete footings for buildings due to the "frost line." The frost line where I am located in Pennsylvania (Near Philadelphia) is 94.1cm (minimum) deep.
  6. That's ok, cylinder kits and turbos are not too terribly expensive..........
  7. I about lost my marbles when I saw the GT500KR Shelby Mustang. And how did all those Winfall Wimmin get out there? Must be too cold in Winfall right now or somethin.
  8. ohhhhhh I'm getting moist..... And don't we know this guy? I'm pretty sure I have seen that Allentown F-Model at the Macungie show several times- parked near the Watts tent...???? Or am I imagining things??
  9. Sure, you can run it with the stone in there, no problem. Just be prepared to do a cylinder kit a few thousand RPM's later.
  10. I don't see any underground potable or waste lines for the bar sink.......WTH is going on?
  11. David, you misspelled "Personal Services Manager."
  12. ECD, go on my FB page and post the question to my FB buddies Eric Zweier and Jimmy Miller.
  13. That's why I love this board.
  14. Welcome. And pix or you don't have it.
  15. Some older 707 Filter (Mack part numbered) do cross over to Wix and Baldwin numbers. If you can determine a Mack number by measuring all the dimensions you may find a replacement. However as was suggested perhaps a new in-line may be easier,
  16. ......it's an Armenian message......it means gearhead sleeps with the fishes..........
  17. Bahhh...coupl'a 1/4" fishplate and some huckbolts, it'll be fine.
  18. gearhead- which part of "leave it at that" didn't you unnerstan?
  19. Let's just say that I am a person that knows how to "get things" for people and leave it at that.
  20. What? I'm innocent I tell ya......I'm just trying to provide needed lodging to BMT members and help you and some of the other guys make some extra coin on the side....????
  21. Ok. Leversole has "Human Resources." Our staffing is beginning to exceed the allotted budget. We will have to raise the price per patron to 113.73 per night.
  22. Actually I was thinking you should be the maitre d'........Do you have a black tux? And we're gonna need a concierge.....That's Green Dash.
  23. I've been wanting to get the FWD out for a ride but with all the salt on the roads, I don't dare. I should however at least light her off tomorrow and let her run for a half hour or so.
  24. Pole dancing trailer......griil...cook own food......I have an idea.... 1. Ken supplies the trailer, pole, grill and a couple of fully stocked poker, craps, blackjack and roulette tables...... 2. I will supply the bacon-wrapped filet mignons and prime rib, and the trimmings and do the cooking........ 3. Otherdog brings the winfall wimmin. We will need the following: a pit boss (gearhead?) a couple of dealers (hatcity, randyp, Freightrain, maddog93) a couple of bouncers (39minimack and slpwlkr) and a bartender or two (JT and superdog.) We will then charge $98.50 per night for anyone to stay, play and eat.
  25. Oh my god there's two of you? I can't handle the pressure................
