  1. This logo reminds me of one of my favorite railroads that once had a classic Midwestern color look and then for what ever reason went black and whit. The Illinois central
  2. In my opinion The video sucks....i got the feeling it was more of an ad about work gloves and blue jeans. Not to mention they dont show the product very much that they are intending to sell.... Edit....I see someone already posted the same thought about the work gloves......
  3. Interesting....why does it look like the drums have teeth on the back side of them?
  4. Ok flywheel it is.....thank you guys..
  5. Yes it is vlad......I found it on shapeways.com
  6. Seams your having a struggle....You have to select the pic from your computer, then hit upload....try it again...we would like to see it.....
  7. Here is my 95% finished RS700L and the 1/4 frame I'm building. The dump is powered by a home made screw drive with electric motor and 4:1 reduction unit. It pushes down on the front of the 1/4 frame and scissor action takes over. However I may need to replace this set up with hydraulics as it seams stressed right now. I will try a 16:1 reduction next to see if it has proper lifting power.
  8. I was told the same....and kinda the same example of why a 300 Mack would run with a 350 cummins....I was also told that Mack rated at the wheels because they made the whole truck and would test the H.P. loss thru the drivetrain and post the end H.P result at the rear wheel.
  9. Where does Mack rate their engine H.P. at these days? If I recall they used to rate it at the wheels? Where do other mfg rate the H.P at?
  10. The old guy is getting up there...he's 12 years old and hates going for walks now...
  11. Saw a post on Facebook that Mack was awarded a military contract that extends into 2018... Any truth to that?
  12. Yea...seams kinda high on the sides and up front near the a pillar....the cab I have looks more to scale. My hood looking from the front is a little off but as soon as you look at it from an angle it looks the part....
  13. Pawl.THE SUPERLINER is a friends.....not mine...I'm not sure what color he will be painting it....
  14. I think the superliner cab was made by a different designer... My buddy just got it and he said the cab is not correct. The cab made by CAA52( what I have ) looks more to scale. I don't think he has a superliner hood tho..
  15. Vlad that's a very good start. Do you have these in a cad drawing?....Are the 6 spokes for heavy rears? I know 5 spokes are considered standard rear... Thank you!
  16. Im having a guy reproduce some front and rear spoke wheels for the tamiya semi trucks...he is asking me if i have a good detailed pic of a front and rear spoke assembly...besides seeing them in pictures of trucks on this site does anyone have a good exploded view or detail view of a spoke wheel . My other question....we're spoke size different if you had a 22.5" rim vs a 24.5... I'm not real info savy with spokes and their diffrence in size...if I'm having the guy make these so i want it to look correct and make it so all the standard tamiya tires will fit the rim... Thanks for your help.
  17. If you have a good model of it like a die cast... You can contact a designer to scan and make simple changes....that's how people do it on shapeways....this 3d printing stuff is awesome....
  18. Very cool....you will have a truck that stands out from the rest with the dual air cleaners....
  19. That looks pretty good. How hard was it... Did you brace the inside?....driver side kick vent still usable?....let us know!
  20. It's about 1/13-1/14 kinda stuck in the middle. The tamiya trucks are 1/14 this cab is 3d printed to fit that scale. PZ....I was thinking of making a snow plow but I have somany other projects going on. I saw a guy make one and it was pretty seeing him push thru a scale 4' of snow. 84Superdog....,go to shapeways.com Type in Mack in the search box....look for designer CAA52... He has all the R model parts...tell him I sent you...he is also working on making some spoke Mack rims for me... Here is some updated pics . Been working nights but had some time this week to work a little more on it.
  21. Got my 6 wheeler in paint... Almost ready for clear coat. Meanwhile my RS700L cab, hood and misc parts showed up today
