  1. My 80 f250 bought used in 84 was a daily driver till 2002 350,000 miles and has never made me walk! 400- 4sp.
  2. looks like the windshield will cost more than a new e-9 ...... wanna see whats left of it after it hits an Elk.
  3. finally something I would call a real POWER WAGON............ that should have been posted in wicked Wednesday!!!!!!!
  4. macattack: loosen the drain plug on trans after it has sat for a while (overnight) and see if any coolant is in oil pan of trans. since the trans oil is at a higher pressure than the coolant you might get lucky. on the cooler you could add a aux. fined cooler and by pass internal rad.cooler. If you don't have a crossmomber in the way you could remove bottom tank but if the side support bracket bolts break off you will be on your back drilling them out or pulling the rad......food for thought.
  5. only watched a 1 1/2 min. of that and couldn't watch anymore! idiots!
  6. Macks: how do you get away with no health card. in wa. state even as a farmer working 150 air miles or less from home I must have a valid card.
  7. now if you could get a extended R cab you would have my support! and a raised roof option for off road work would be nice too!!
  8. red if oil is getting to the air cans you had better drain your other air tanks also.be cautious of pipe plugs on the bottom side of the tanks,(may have been drain valves broke off and replaced with plug) had this happen to me each tank had a drain. One tank had two chambers and a plug in one chamber( plum full of crap)couldt figure out why I wasn't building air chamber was froze solid. you might have the same thing going on except with oil
  9. I'd say remove the injectors and fill cyls. with solvent/diesel/atf mix, check daily for about three days then re try
  10. continued secondary ranch training mandatory attendance required...
  11. boy for $5790.39 he really took it in the shorts..... keep hearing Shelby county tribuine want ads play thru my head (for those who don't know its a C.W. McCall song from the late 70's)
  12. IF YOU HAVE LARGE VOLUMES OF OIL IN THE AIR SYSTEM YOUR AIR DRYER BASICALY IS NOT WORKING (DESCANT AND OIL DONT MIX) MY ADVICE IS CHANGE COMP. WITH REMAN, FLUSH SYSTEM MULTIPLE TIMES WITH AIR LINE ANTI FREEZE, DRAIN ALL AIR TANKS AND LEAVE OPEN AS LONG AS POSSABLE . THEN REKIT THE AIR DRYER AND REBUILD THE UNLOADER VALVE IN THE AIR DRYER AS WELL THE OIL WILL CAUSE THE O-RINGS TO SWELL AND LATER WILL STICK THE UNLOADER VALVE.
  13. THATS DIFFRENT! AN EXTRA HALF MILLION IN STEEL WOULD HAVE MADE THAT A LITTLE NICER
  14. HATE TO SAY IT BUT THE SILOETTE ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A FRIGHTLINER CLASSIC

  17. DAMN............. THATS ALL I CAN SAY
  18. DAMN GLAD I DONT HAVE TO THROW IRON ON THAT TENDER. OTHER THAN THAT I LIKE IT!
  19. GDAY GINGER WHATS YOUR AMBIENT AIR TEMP BOTH HIGH AND LOW THEN WE CAN SUGEST A PROPER WT. OIL
  20. SENDER NORTH WE STILL CUT LOGS HERE ! WELL OK WE STILL HAVE ONE MILL THAT CAN STILL HANDEL THE BIG BOYS
  21. we had guys using two wire braded hyd. hose for air lines on pup trailers and log trailers because its tougher than rubber braided hose 150 psi working pressure vs.2500 psi. But if it did not say dot approved they would be red tagged until (proper lines installed).......... but hey they know whats safe and whats best in adverse conditions! ( DUMB BASTARDS)
