  1. I know they dont get as much pressure against them
  2. Glad to see a Mack go on to continue in the service. Many departments up here export old trucks which i dont like when there are towns within our own country which need the trucks.
  3. They havent released anything else yet but did say a car was involved.
  4. This nice granite was working with us yesterday. Nice RS run by Coastal/Munk
  5. Theres an autocar running around by us with one of them bodies. Steel though.
  6. Some fords. Ex-City of New Britain plow/dump/rolloff
  7. Some Cats working in Branford on a bridge.
  8. Navistar has all the single axles taken up for towns and the state. The only towns with Macks now are the ones who have always been and they're mainly going to 10 wheelers for everything besides a few that are running single axles with big rears with cone axles. For small trucks Fords rule as you say. And Sterlings gotta be the ugliest biggest pieces of junk ive ever seen.
  9. I was surprised to see freightliner not bid on our towns new 10 wheeler. They got all the ones for the state. Mack won our bid, which is good considering the frieightliner they have is junk. Anyways majority of the freight trucks are definitely freighliner. I would say construction is still mainly paccar with mack right behind them. At least around here anyways.
  10. Changing it is a fairly easy job. 4 bolts and a couple clamps and off.
  11. A local bodyshop in CT and R.J. Guerrera (golden age of trucking) took over the patent at the end and were building them for export only. THey couldnt get the crash testing so they weren't allowed in the U.S.
  12. I saw that this morning. On another note they hauling in the bridge beams for the Pearl Harbor Bridge (Q-bridge) in New Haven and some are coming on regular dollies and some on triaxle truck frames. Interesting to see. Regular frames with rearends on hendrickson suspension.
  13. They have over 40 trucks all pre-90s. Mainly 40s, 50s ,60 and 70s trucks. Majority Fords and Internationals. Great people.
