  1. Nice pics. I enjoy seeing some of the beautiful scenery this country has to offer.
  2. Great pics, the B-81 was a nice surprise. Glad everything is ok at home.
  3. Was that taken at last years BMT show? I had just finished checking out the Eidemiller B on the right when the Pete pulled in the gate.
  4. Overdrive's end with a zero i.e. TRD107 is a direct and TRD1070 is an overdrive. The wiki button above will take you to some excellent, detailed info. Here's the link to the tranny pdf. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/tutorials/article/37-b-model-transmission-data/
  5. So the N series was available with every 6 cyl Thermodyne that was available at the time? That's pretty big power for a little truck back then.
  6. I look forward to seeing your weekly photos and captions and yes, I do need to get a life. The license plate on the SUV would explain why they had trouble keeping it between the lines.

Based on the results of several tests I've conducted on the glass, I'd say hell yeah.

It was so long ago that I don't remember that one.
  9. Nice shots of the ferry. My Wife and I have been wanting to take a trip out that way for a few years, but always end up doing something else. Did you have any bad weather? We've had 2 forecasts here lately-drought and monsoon.
  10. Tried both, no luck. I'm in the process of getting all my computers updated, which is why I'm currently using this one. It's next to get looked at. I take them to guy that fixes computers as a hobby and charges next to nothing. I've had some strange issues over the years and haven't been able to stump him yet. I probably should have posted this earlier, but here's the error message: Message: HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917) Line: 0 Char: 0 Code: 0 URI: http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/

Schneider didn't even want her, that speaks volumes.
  12. Who is this person and what has he done to the real Mayor "everything is the government's business" Bloomberg.
  13. Nice pics. Love the '64-'66 T-Birds.
  14. Any takers? Have you checked local community colleges? Some of them have inexpensive programs that I expect would be at least as good, probably better, than what a truck driving school would offer. He gets lost quite often too. I've seen him run back and forth on the same stretch of I-70 a dozen times in the same day. Another time, I was loading next to Mr. Schneider. He pulled away from the dock and returned 5 minutes later to unload. I guess he didn't recognize the place he just left. What a jerk! Obama is more tolerant of heat, having been born in Kenya.
  15. You look a bit jaundiced there, Buddy. Ya might wanna get that checked out this week. Enjoy your vacation!
  16. I'm not a fan of the chopped look but this was clearly done by someone with the skills and patience to do a job right. I'd seen this at shows in the past but I believe it was still a work in progress. This is the best I've seen it look. The red, white, and blue KW is prolly the V-12 Ben was talking about.
  17. Original engine would be an ENDT676 aka "Maxidyne 300". Nice find! Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to locate 11 long-haired friends of Jesus in a chartreuse microbus.

I went through Schneider's program because it was my best option for getting a CDL. My dad had taught me to drive several years earlier and often let me take the wheel on interstates and practice backing. My plans changed when, while waiting to be old enough to run interstate, I got an "offer I couldn't refuse" and became a Glazier in the construction industry. Years later when I decided to "answer my calling" I needed to find someone that would hire me with no license and no marketable experience, but the skills to do the job. 4 weeks after setting foot on Schneider's property, I was pulling my first load from Pine Grove, PA to Athens, GA. It worked out fine for me but is not nearly enough training for someone who has never driven anything larger than a car. Worse than the mega-carriers is some of the fly-by-night independent schools. # of my classmates at SNI had already obtained their CDL's from school but had to go through the program due to lack of experience. Only 1 of those 3 completed the program in 4 weeks. The second quit because they told him he would need additional training and the third (remember these are cdl holders) was sent home because she wanted noting to do with a pre-trip inspection. She felt that even the basic stuff like fluids, lights, and tires were the mechanics job to check and repair because she was a truck driver.
  19. You should be nervous. Turning 40 is friggin' horrible, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. In fact, the only ages worse than 40 are 37, 38, 39. Don't get me started on those 3, I can't believe I survived those years. Terrible...terrible. Being 50-now that's cool! Have a Nice Day!
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. Or at least a very loose interpretation of one. The top half looks a bit like a late 50's Ford F series.
  22. Well...uh...yeah....I think so.... Absolutely! The post shall remain as is.
  23. I think the wraparound dash looks much better in the darker green than in tan.
  24. Rob, on 24 July 2012 - 08:08 PM, said: eat her. Methinks I've been violated.
  25. I watched that video when you first posted it and my sides just quit aching last week-here we go again. Positively Friggi-larious!
