  1. Good to hear you were well enough to get back to work. Was that Higgins lumber in Roseville, OH? Been there a few times. Nice shots of US 60 and the reminder that sharing the road with women drivers isn't ALL bad.
  2. Great photos. My daily dose of pinstripes has been satisfied.
  3. Good to hear your feeling better, but don't over exert yourself trying to find stuff to piss you off. Let it come to you (it will).
  4. if I make it, it'll probably be some time after 1:00.
  5. One would hope that management would instinctively give credit to the blue collar folks at some point in the interview. Didn't happen I guess. Aside from the above spike in your blood pressure, how ya feeling ?
  6. For those of you who aren't familiar with the IMdB site, here's some details on the movie. Much of what's on there has already been discussed on various truck related web sites by the 10 bazillion of us who've seen the movie 10 bazillion times. My spellchecker didn't catch bazillion. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077369/
  7. Twenty Questions. #1. Does the project need to have a drop cloth placed underneath it when parked to protect the ground from "spotting"? If I make it, I'll be wearing a Pitt Ohio T-shirt with the company logo on the front and a huge Pinnacle on the back.
  8. When I worked for the door company, I ran regional daycabs, including the R model in my avatar. A member on the Hank's Truck Pictures forum offered to send a copy of that ad to my boss to help him eliminate hotel expenses. I get all warm and fuzzy when someone, out of the goodness of their heart, goes out of their way to help improve my quality of life. I'd never seen or heard of that contraption until he posted it. It seems that R model might have just enough room to squeeze a traditional 36" sleeper behind the cab.
  9. You are officially the ruler of BMT How did you tag the oil pans? I used to work in construction. There 's probably a dozen or so buildings in Manhattan that have my name spray painted on a steel beam, under a thick layer of fireproofing.
  10. Looks great. Clean wheels really have an impact on the overall appearance.
  11. I don't give a s#!t I just want chocolate and m&m's See what I mean!
  12. I think IH did a great job in designing passenger vehicles considering that wasn't their niche. This style and it's predecessor (the change was done around 1970?) were as stylish as any of the competition at the time. Best of luck with the new truck!
  13. Some of the folks who designed these things back then had a warped sense of humor...
  14. Sorry. I suffer from crankiness and water retention around this time every month (when the mortgage is due).
  15. Beautiful truck. Most of the Titan's that I've seen that were set up for logging have been wrecked ( I used to watch a certain TV show on the History channel).
  16. Randyp once owned a lime green Pinto (and liked it). What does that tell you?
  17. Who's gonna be the first to open the hood?
  18. Welcome! I have also developed an itch since joining this site, but the ointment seems to have it under control. Like yourself, I don't own a Mack but have fond memories of riding shotgun with my Dad when I was kid and have been fortunate to have the opportunity to drive a few, including the one in my avatar. There's plenty of fun to be had here but more importantly, it's the best possible resource for all things Mack, just watch out for that Randyp character. He's like the patient at the insane asylum that walks around in a lab coat pretending he's a doctor.
  19. Nice photo! I've never seen that one before, thanks for posting it.
  20. Well, that's one way of testing it, I guess!
  21. "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one your with"-Stephen Stills Before you know it, yours will be much nicer than that.
  22. Sorry to hear that. Best of luck, maybe you'll find an even better gig.
  23. That explains why I only recently learned that the U models didn't have the plus-3 cab. The handle is deceiving.
  24. That's an amazing find, too bad everything is trashed. I didn't know the airport had closed, I went for a plane ride there when I was a kid. There used to be an Adventureland across the street on Linden Pl.
  25. IT WAS A F&%$#!@G COOKIE!
