  1. What is the reason for not using the integral sleeper cabs like the Pinnacles?
  2. Happy Birthday to all of the above.
  3. It could have been worse. You could have taken time out of your day to watch Raiders football.
  4. It's starting to look like a truck!
  5. Welcome Corky! Don't hate me for this, but my use of the clutch for shifting is sporadic at best, but I don't force Ms Fuller to do anything she doesn't want to do. Who did you work for over the years? BTW here's my sexy woman photo, complete with a big welcome kiss::
  6. Shoulda used straps. I see a claim waiting to happen.
  7. He's up on Rt 8. The house sits pretty far back from the road and the shop is even further back, but if the truck were parked outside it should be visible. I met him not at a truck show but indirectly through my daughter. Way back when in a galaxy far, far away, my daughter and his granddaughter were in pre-school together and my wife and Joe's daughter became friends. Joe was hosting a 30th birthday party for his daughter to which we were invited but come the day of the party, my younger daughter was sick and wasn't going to able to go. My older daughter who was 6 at the time wanted to go because the party was going to be loaded with rug rats so there I was it what seemed to be a no win situation. My wife tells me " you should go, I think he likes trucks" and I'm thinking "yeah..whatever". I was pleasantly surprised.
  8. Nice dumper. the dump trucks are nice, too. The fella that owns the GMC below lives on the hill above Chester. He has a small GMC bone yard at the back of his property, but I don't believe it's visible from the road.
  9. I will have a good weekend 'cuz told me to. Back at ya!
  10. And what did YOU do while you were in school? Looks great. I like that you and your Papa are making the effort to keep the appearance as close to OEM as possible.
  11. It's probably cruising down the interstate in a white Sterling with blue stripes. I work in LTL and I understand that freight can be mis-routed from time to time. but with today's technology and tracking procedures, you almost have to make an effort to lose something. I hope they can quickly get this resolved for you.
  12. Marco!.....
  13. The Shuster's trailer in the background is another classic-a 1981 Strick. The Boyd truck is blocking the sharp looking '91 CH I was driving.
  14. Looks great. I think your truck is at least partly responsible the first place prize.
  15. It had a 350 Mack engine and a Fuller trans when I spoke to him in 2008.
  16. I hope your bedroom has high ceilings! You'd better build a 1/4 scale drip pan for your night stand too.
  17. I Googled Family Truckster. It's funny how I was able to remember that name but can't remever the name of someone I met 2 minutes ago.
  18. Great info. Thanks for posting that.
  19. I suspect it was owned by a utility company or similar. That would explain the automatic as well as the low mileage and condition. I think Allegheny Power may have had a few of those.
  20. Excellent! Best of luck on Tuesday.
  21. This can be added to the list of novelties that are difficult or impossible to find in brands other than Mack.
  22. He had a 350 Mack engine and a Fuller trans. I saw him bobtailing on I-79 near Morgantown, WV last year. IIRC, he was from somewhere in the east or northeast part of PA. I'm thinking he might be hauling Frac sand.
  23. I first saw that R model 4 years ago. I snapped a few pics and got to talk a bit with the owner. Remember this Trent? http://hankstruckforum.com/htforum/index.php?topic=25189.msg205016#msg205016
  24. Now that's art!
