    That's kinda funny seeing the 318 listed with those smaller engines. I know why, but it's still amusing.

    I was thinking that first main road before turning right was Merrick Rd somewhere in Nassau. I looked up Baron Honda and realized I was off quite a bit, but I got the south shore right. I remember a Baron Lincoln-Mercury, not sure where they were.

    Self preservation maybe? My Dad used to let me drive when I was your age. It's a lot more fun when no one is in the car/truck with you. The door looks good.

    I found the Hawk's Nest on Google Earth. It looks as if the cartographer had a bad case of the shakes when he was drawing that map. There are some nice pictures of the area on Earth also. I'd like to visit the Mystery Hole (I'm not sure why I said that).

    Route 60? When I was with Shuster's I ran 60 from Rainelle to 19 a couple of times. Is the Hawk's Nest on that stretch?

    Is Reisch the company that uses all the classic style pinstriping? If so, I saw one of their trucks on the PA turnpike about 5 years ago and thought I was hallucinating. It was pretty cool to see that, unfortunately it was on a Volvo.

    Amazing collection. Mike's profile says "140 at last count" but seeing the photos really puts that number into perspective.

    The east end is a very different place today than it was when I was growing up. It's being destroyed by all this so called progress, which seems to be the destiny for any sizeable amount of prime real estate these days.

    Thanks. That one is typical of the R models I rode in as a kid. I don't think any other brand can pull off the bare-bones look as well as Mack.

    That's a great collection of equipment, I even see a few VIN numbers. Did you get a pic of "just an R model"? The MF looks as if it would take 89 hp just to move the weight of the engine.
