  1. Hi Everyone Thank you for all your comments, I am amused indeed. and certainly not offended. Have not got a lot of time for chatting for the next couple of weeks as we have our big annual truck reunion starting on Aug 23. Truckies come from all over Aus. There will be 127 trucking characters, drivers, anyone who has anything to do with the industry, to be inducted into our Hall of Fame and I am responsible for putting their nominations together, publishing their stories etc on the website so time is limited. We celebrate with a gala dinner and the event lasts a minimum of 4 days and we do the catering etc. Busy Busy busy. Mack is one of our major sponsors other than the Shell Petroleum Company. CAT is coming on board this year, Cummins is already a major sponsor. There are plenty of others too. Mack Volvo is is building a new shed to house their trucks etc as in a museum. Competition for the Kenworth Dealer Hall of Fame which is also a major sponsor with a big hall of fame on site too. The Mack Museum should be complete in 2015.. maybe I can post some photos after the reunion. if I get time to take some. Will endeavour to send didgeroo after reunion. JTFormula. Thats if down under hasn't fallen of the edge. Cheers for now. Stay funny, I need a good laugh.
  2. Thank you all for the welcome and for your comments. Be assured that I do not do bikinis. Anyawy the weather here in Alice Springs is very very cold at present. And yes we do have outback steakhouses which serve steaks of various types: camel, beef, crocodile, emu, kangaroo to name a few. Yummy. Am impressed with what I see of this forum. Our museum has a website which is www.roadtransporthall.com if anyone would like to check it out. There is a forum on it as well. Would be very pleased to hear from anyone who has information on any of the trucks etc pictured on the website. Other comments welcomed also. There is a Mack shed being added to the precinct within the next couple of years. This is exciting as we will be able to display Macks and Mack history for all to see. PS I know lots of Andrews from Australia too.
  3. Hi Everyone, I am an old girl from Aussie who is a volunteer at the National Road Transport Hall of Fame in Alice Springs in Australia. I am always being asked by our visitors about makes and models of trucks. I do not always know the answers so joined BMT to ask the wise and dedicated truckies for some answers. So to start I have two questions. 1. Is there somewhere I can access a complete list of models made by Mack? Preferably with pictures. 2. Is there a K-model Mack? Okay, now lets see what I can learn.
