  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. You are 8 hours ahead of the eastern United States. You should be the first to reply.
  3. Mick Jagger has a girl who once pushed him around, under his thumb. McDonald's?...strip mall?. Back then there was the Mobil station, a diner nearby but on the other side of the road, and a whole lotta woods. I hope the area hasn't become too developed, but it's been more than 30 years.
  4. May I? Paul is many miles from the Brooklyn Bridge. Exit 70 of the LIE would be the 2 miles he was referring to. I've been over the bridge many times in a vehicle but took my first walk across last summer. The kids will love that since they'll be more knowledgeable of it than the majority of folks that use it on a daily basis.
  5. Many of us will have buzzard stories of our own to share 60 years from now.
  6. The bench seat reminds me of the sleepers you would see back then. 4 doors, hub caps not wheel covers, bench seat, 3 speed auto on the column, 440 with a 6 pack....
  7. I saw Convoy at the Parma Town theatre in Cleveland while on a layover with my Dad. We actually drove to see the movie in a tractor trailer. I was 16 at the time and took Dirty Lyle's attitude towards truckers personally, but I growed up since then.
  8. I heard Mack was going to buy out Volvo. They're gonna change the Volvo name to "Bullshit". Don't know if it's true or not.
  9. I worked at a Mobil station at exit 70 of the LIE back in '79 or '80. All I had to do was collect the money at the self-serve pumps but it was a bitch trying to keep up on the weekends.
  10. Walking is fine until they clip a set of pups to one of your belt loops.
  11. At the risk of losing Man Points I'm gonna side with you this time. There's a helluva lot more beautiful women in this world than there are Superbird's. Step aside and let us see the car!
  12. I'm not a fan of Volvo's or 6-71's but as they say-"The Hole is greater than the sum of it's parts". Where can find such a vehicle?
  13. Ultraliner may have been a unofficial nickname they used for advertising purposes and later resurrected for the MH. Like putting "Fantastic" on an F model brochure.
  14. One would think that such an intimate act could only strengthen a relationship.
  15. I was mistaken. I knew the rest of that crowd didn't look like Virginians.
  16. He's been one of my favorite actors since I was a kid. Rumor has it that one reason that his marriage to Ethel Merman failed was because he gave her a "Dutch Oven" on their wedding night. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-207_162-57468279/actor-ernest-borgnine-dies-at-95/
  17. That's what I figgered. It didn't sound much like Clooney. Was supposed to hit a 93 today but at 2:30 it was only 85. It's a chilly 83 now.
  18. Is that how they do the Chicken Dance down under? I can add that to the list of about 100 other places I'd like to visit in this country.
  19. Is that future "Kabob-er extraordinaire?"
  20. You could've taken a quick dip in the Ohio. Lots of floatation devices in there if you got tired.
  21. If the inside of the Statue of liberty looked like that you would see many more tourists willing to take the stairs.
  22. Jest tryin ta tak tha heet of Viny an hiz spellin. Giv ya sumfin els ta stres ova.
  23. If caught, I don't think the culprit should be charged with a crime. The message is clearly in the public's best interest.
