  1. Paul, I like your brown and cream paint job.. In the mid 80's Chevy/GMC had a 2 tone scheme similar on their pickup trucks.
  2. Tom, Thank you for all the pictures and excellent explanation of your fantastic work!!
  3. A VERY good job!! Your man who made it for you must have had a lot of patience also!!! It took me a minute to figure out what the vertical sliders were in the back corners.. Did The L model only have exhaust louver type vents?? Does the air inlet come thru the heater system? Do those sliding doors seal well enough to prevent heat loss??? Are you adding AC??
  4. Red Horse, Even though the suction line is normally a vacuum line, if you put 5 PSI of pressure in the tank the suction line "should" leak/seep??
  5. Vlad Thanks!! I will start to do my homework on old topics..
  6. I have reached my picture posting limit.. So I now have to use Postimage to post pictures here.. It is a free website.. Be sure to click on thumbnails for forums and then the blue box on the right hand end. https://postimages.org/
  7. We always enjoy pictures of your countryside!! Whether on a truck retrieval run or just a Bike / car ride.. I have forwarded you earlier topics pictures to my son-in-law who is 2nd generation Ukrainian. That wrecker looks like a cross between what we call a roll back and a ramped low boy trailer, with an under axle lift mounted on the back?? Got some more pictures of it???
  8. Good start on the pictures.. Lets see more of the museum!! Did you get all your equipment home OK??
  9. The last 50 Brockways went to Iran for oil field work. These were ordered before the strike and Mack had to complete the order. They were Assembled by management people in a Miami FL warehouse.
  10. I am thinking that the 300 series Brockways had the shutters behind the radiator also????
  11. Most of today's bumper ends are now plastic, rubber, or fiberglass which will not bite into a tire like steel.
  12. Try Bub Warren in Amarillo TX 806-374-3056 or lilyellowbus37@gmail.com
  13. Paul, Yes that last picture is a Scout.. Not sure if it is factory or home built/modified with the loss of the doors and roof to sportorize it with the canvas top??

  15. Swishman, YES basically they are, BUT at times they are too close to get good individual pictures although plenty of room to walk around the trucks.. Jeff over on the JOT site is better at getting individual pictures than I am.. Here are a few overall pictures. I could not get the pictures to come up with Postimage but I did a link to them come thru. You will have to click on the link then each picture to bring them to full size. https://postimg.cc/gallery/SXxt2zS
  16. NO.. The C model used the L model cab.. The N model used the Budd / Ford style cab.
  17. Sorry I did not make the picture.. Did not realize there was going to be one as I was offline after Tues PM..
  18. You are correct on the Compfovision being stamped by Chicago Cab Co. The IH Compfovision cab that Diamond T used was slightly different in the cab mount area as they assembled them at the DT plant whereas everybody else bought the assembled cab from IH.
  19. Will see you there.. Look for my little DT under the tree across from registration.
  20. That is why the Brockways and Autocars had the big heavy grille guards.. Nobody passed on big hills, they just pushed!!
  21. What set of doubles?? What ground hog?? You got the most important parts!!
  22. Dinner sounds good.. Possibly Thur night??? Friday my daughter is coming up from Philly for dinner and Saturday we will go back to Carlisle after getting loaded.. My cell is 864-905-2549
  23. And in the late 60's and early 70's I thought I had a BIG truck when I got in a 220 or 250 Cummins compared to the Continental and White gas jobs I had been driving..
  24. Tom, You would have had to read the show brochure included in your Wheels of Time!! The entire show pass, $50 for EACH person, is good from Tuesday thru Sunday, if any trucks were left!! You did it the cheapest way. It cost me $135 for Nelle and I plus the Diamond T!!! Plus $300 for the 3 day golf cart, reserved and paid for in March.. Room and food would have been the same.. The more I think about it the Less I am planning on going to Springfield ILL next year.. I hope to meet up, and visit longer, with you at Macungie where it only costs $10!!! Will arrive Thursday by noon and hope to get my usual parking place under the tree across form registration.
