I am also another Yanky!! But from the Syracuse upstate area where we still pronounce it New York..😀
  2. Yes I will be there about 9:oo AM with the DT.. Our Chapter will have a few trucks there this afternoon, the about 3 more tomorrow morning. They are planning on parking at the top against the woods.. DCW, you will probably have to introduce yourself again as I am lousy about putting names with faces!! JoJo I also plan on being in Colfax..
  3. Especially 4 trucks from the same company in their original work cloths.. Reminds me of the PRIDE these fleets had in their equipment!!!

Joey, Our prayers are with you for a fast recovery.. I always use diesel fuel and a couple of dirty shop rags..
  5. Michael, I still like yours better in the original livery..
  6. Dean, Here is a link to the Erv Bickford Collection. The City of Yarmouth put the pavillion park display together in his memory after Erv passed away. http://forums.justoldtrucks.com/99086/The-Erv-Bickford-Collection?PageIndex=1
  7. Were you able to hit any of the museums???? Like Cole's in Bangor and/or Erv Bickford's in Yarmouth???
  8. Wonderful OSHA!!!!!!!
  9. That is a very SHARP car!! Larry Freight train will prolly wet his pants!!
  10. My DT rear springs are under the axle also. Look on the right frame rail in the area of the right front axle rear spring hanger and you might still find the serial number?? If so, and a DT, I can help identify the model and possibly the year.
  11. A lot of companies used those axles with those 16" spoke wheels: Diamond T, Studebaker, White, and maybe Mack DE??? I would have to go out to the shop and crawl under My Diamond T 201 to see where the front spring hangers are and that hump over the rear axle?? How many leaves in the spring packs??? MY DT has 9 up front and 13 in the rear!!!
  12. What are the two objects that look like they are tarp strapped to the front bumper?? AND what are the white frameworks standing up on the front fenders for??????
  13. Back about 5-8 years ago T Line made a few trucks using the International S model cab, But have not heard anything about them since???

I do NOT know how this works from a phone??? I have all my pictures on my desk top.. Here is the link:: https://postimages.org/ Click on choose image and go to your picture library, highlight the picture you want and click open, When it downloads click on the blue box on the right of "direct link" this will copy it. Go back to the reply box on the forum, then RIGHT click to bring up "paste" and click. At first it may show a bunch of letters describing the picture, BUT when you click on "Submit" the actual picture will pop in.. This is just a sample I clicked on!!!!

I use Postimage like that also.
  16. Contact some of your friends in Vermont. 20 years ago I got the South Carolina title for my Diamond T that way. Also there used to be an outfit called Broadway Title in Birmingham AL who could get you a title..
  17. Are those all "B" doubles or is there an "A" hitch in there somewhere????????
  18. I have been to both as a tourist.. The price of everything is higher in Alaska as it has to be shipped in.. In Montana you can at least grow your own beef and pork!! I Did not care for the Reindeer meat in Alaska??
  19. TJC, you can NOT go north with out increasing your TAXES unless northern New England or Upper Midwest.. Wisc or Minn??????
  20. Any hot spot.. Most anywhere!! If your brake lite switch is under the back of the cab probably the starter is the closest. If it is near the foot pedal from the firewall or dash or a wire which leads to the HOT side of the ignition or light switch..
  21. TJC There is a very valid reason California is known as "the land of fruits and nuts"!!!!!!! And Bob described most of them!!! It would be the last place I would retire to!!!! And many of its neighboring states.. A retirement location all depends on what type of weather, dense city or sparse rural population, lay of the land (hills or flat), TAXES, and what services you receive from them, and the availability of places of interest to pursue your hobbies and lifestyle. Yeah, I enjoy my small house on 55 acres with out buildings here in South Carolina!!
  22. Dean, It was great to meet and visit with you Saturday.. Always nice to be able to put a face with a name..
  23. The brake light switch in your picture should be available at any parts house which deals in truck equipment.. You might want to take that old one with you to get the right pipe fitting thread size???
  24. Paul, Thanks!! Maybe the dates are not that screwed up, ours is early summer and yours in in the Spring..
