Joey, All you need now is a wing plow for them big downsoutheaster snow storms!  lol  They were plowing the Mt. Washington Auto Road yesterday.

The calendar says May but it looks more like winter up on Mount Washington.

According to the National Weather Service on Saturday, 10.8 inches of snow fell at the Mount Washington Observatory. The observatory said the summit has picked up 11.9 inches of snow in May.

Yeah.. I plowed our little road a cuple times when we had 6 inches fall.  One of my neighbors complained because I left a win row in front of his house.   That was the last ime I cleaned the road.. now when it snows and melts and re-freezes. the road has ice rails..  Oh well...  I have a Toyota 4WD with big tires, I get around just fine..  😁  and it only last 2-3 days..

All nice and sunny over there these days by the looks of it 

Nothing much shop talk wise to add from me

Irrigation water is off for the year, but at over 300 bucks a acre foot there's no money to be made in putting out water so just tidied up the paddock with the mulching mower and hopefully get some rain over winter to grow some feed

Still selling hay, one person bought all the hay a few months ago and of course the price has more than doubled since then, but as a older bloke once said to me "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"

Different looking sky out here heading into winter than possibly other parts of the world

Had a hunk cut out of my arm the other day with a chunk of skin cancer, apparently that's my white privilege coming through ha ha 

I guess it's one way to loose some weight, wpund is about 2 - 2 1/2 inches long

Anyway, nothing of much to report

Joey, funny thing is, not funny ha ha but funny 

My brother had a hunk cut out of the same spot as me a couple of months ago 

He waa wondering if it was a dud spot in our DNA 

I think it is we drive RHD vehicles and our arms spend a lotta time on the window sill in the sun

Also before we were all pussy's we had no A.C. in anything at all and the window was always down and our arms all resting half in and half out tje window

Paul, it is not just over there. my left arm i have had 6 spots removed over the past 25 or so years, and now have to wear long sleeve shirt whenever out in the sun or in a truck without tinted windows.

That's about right. Doctor said it's a truck driver's thing. Arm out the window in the sun and wind for the bad skin. And going deaf in my left ear before my right because of the wind. Most common word around my house now is "What?".  lol    .....Hippy

Apparently "hey" is the most common word from my mouth 

Go out to a social do and I  can't hear the person beside me, I end up outside with the smokers generally as with no walls for the spund to bounce off and a lot less people I can hear okay

I tended to think everyone mumbled a lot 

Never guessed it was me ha ha

Put me in a crowded  place and I can't make out squat of a conversation with the person next to me. A whole lot of smile and nod's.

until i got the hearing aids if i wanted to be in a conversation with someone or a group i had to be right ear facing to them. and now with the hearing aids, if the wind is blowing, tv or music up loud, or cars-trucks passing by, they overbear the conversation because of the louder tones.

TJC, Same Here!!!! These damn electric ears will drive you nuts!!! I work part time at the county landfill boxsite. The pump motor on the compactor will drown out all conversation!!

I just used it to push my burning brush pile up into a hill to let it burn down. The cable is hooked to the mast. I can use the blade to back drag too..  Just sayin'

Same for me,skin cancers on my left arm, and left ear almost deaf.   terry

Pretty fortunate… as far as health issues getting way to close to 70 and don’t really have any except I did have a couple bad spots on my face,,, doc had to freeze …. Spent 40 years on the night shift and spend as much time as I can in the sun with no precautions . And every tom dick and Harry is constantly preaching to me to take precautions…. Haha you don’t get it I spent most of my life up all night…  Bob
