You should check the quality of a particular hood you're going to tinker with. Starting of thickness of the walls. Engine heat or even the sun may ruine all filling and painting after installed on a truck. OEM hoods are known of their properties but that thing might be needing some investigation. If putting it on a truck I personally would cut the split lines the way original steel parts get to each other. Just my taste. All hand laid up and the quality is very good, but as mentioned above it is for air ride B only which severely limits the market. $5 grand is pricey .
